Hello,
A friend of mine wants to start playing EVE, she wants to get herself a long IteronV, a Apoc and a cute Tristan Frigate. And wants to become a Pilot more than anything else, i don't know what race to recommend to her?
Gallante's don't seem to have good perception AND willpower? So what race would be suited to her?
Also does anyone have the beginning attributes for all races/blood lines?

Choose minmatar slave child with attributes to perc. and wisdom.

I dont remember the stats, but caldari is usually the best choise.
Chose the bloodline with most Perception and Willpower.
Don't forget also to use your extrapoints to add to memory because is the primary attribute for all Learning skills.

Get lots of Per, good Int, and reasonable Mem and Will. Will is only secondary (albeit to most of the ship and gunnery skills) whereas Int is primary on lots, including all the nav and engineering skills which pilots will also want.

Caldri profession is the Merc one. It is what I choose.

Aside from attributes, I would advise choosing a minmatar or gallente char and start out with learning only two races' shipskills. Gallente or Minamater as main focus and Caldari ships as second focus. Caldari ships just suck for mining and as such starting with another race is wise. Because mining is just pretty neccesary to progress.
Maybe a Minnie char with top Perc. Will. Mem. and Int. would be the way to go, and start training Caldari ships once you've mastered the Minmatar ones.
Regardless of the above, dont start with an Amarr char. They dont really have anything going for them atm.
