Starting Bid: 75m (fitting extra, see below) Buyout: 85m Increments: 1m Sniper: 15 minutes Duration: 72 hours Location: Vuorrassi (5 jumps from Jita, hi-sec. Can be moved to Jita/Perimeter)
A little bit about this: I have been using this ship for a while as a sexy looter till I upgraded to the Navy Megathron. This little ship is currently fitted with:
4x Salvager/4X Tractor 1x Gist C-Type 100mn AB 8x Expanded Cargohold II
It goes ~300 m/s with regular schmo implants (AY-2, CY-2, Hyperlink) and can hold appx. 4100m3. The fitting will cost 65m extra if you would like to purchase that as well. Otherwise the ship is just the ship + rigs.
This is honestly the best salvager I could put together before the Navy Mega / Marauders. Don't believe the destroyer hype.
1. The destroyer can go faster, however if you're trying to pull form a can while omving you will often get the "Can must be closer than 1500 meters" message. My experience is that anything over 300 m/s will cause this to happen far too often.
2. A destroyer maxes out at around 1400 m3, and thats with putting 50m isk rigs on a 1m isk ship. That's not enough to salvage most of the large level 4s and, even before the time lost for docking, dumping and coming out, it will be slower because you'd only get that much cargo space by sacrificing the salvage tackles.
3. If you are like me you have two accounts, one salvaging while the other kills. If you screw up and draw aggro with this ship you can survive long enough to get out. Destroyer becomes so much space dust. In that line, this ship also has space in the mids for 2 remote sensor booster to help your main as well as a 125m3 drone bay for additional fire support. (5 Ogre IIs will help make mincemeat of the Recon 2/3 structure)
--- So that's my pitch. It's a great ship and has served me well but I've moved up in terms of spending far too much on my salvaging ship so I'm passing the savings on to you! Enjoy!

Throw my Catylist in the Garbage? You must be talking to me. I would luv to have a Maruader. You have my envy.
You remember me. I bought that Myrmadon from ya. She is flying so much better than my first one.
I ended up selling those x6 type 2 Shield Power Relays and made a profit on them. I ended up getting the Type 1 Beta Shield Power Relays although more expensive they have the same stats, but a much lower CPU requirement. Besides I did not want to wait to train a level 4 skill to use the type 2's.
It got my Shield Recharge Rate down to 110 from my previous 150. I feel so much safer now.

Good to hear . And 'm talking to anyone, everyone seems to believe the catalyst or the thrasher is the pimp god of salvaging when the fact is I could carry their ship in this thing and still have plenty of room for salvaging. Tsk tsk.

The hardest part to selling this ship will be finding a buyer with the skills to fly it. Odds are you will need to deliver it to Amarr Space.

I actually prefer a fitted Exequerer (Playing Gallente, before the inevitable question) With MWD, it'll make a mockery outta a destroyer according to EFT.

...
It's got 4 frickin' hi slots...
You're Gallente, grab a Megathron... or it will only take you 7-10 days depending on attributes to get into an Armageddon, the best sub-faction/t2 salvager...
Also MWD = bad, gotta salvage while you kill and MWDs are a big no-no for deadspace. |
