There seem to be an awful lot of people who want everybody else to 'go and play WoW'. how many people would be left playing EVE if these people took their advice ? My son assures me that on WoW forums they say 'go and play EVE' instead.

I can't and won't speak for everyone, but I reserve the 'go back to WoW' for those who just refuse to adapt to the harsh EVE realm and insist that WoW-like rules be used instead. Different games, different rules, different mindsets are needed to thrive in each.

Sorry - the point I was trying to make is that you don't win arguements by shouting, insulting or just being plain rude, if you don't have anything constructive to add don't post. and yours was a reasoned constructive post - thank you

It has been my experience that when people ask for a different style of gameplay that what EVE offers now, is when they make these kinds of comments.

Yeah - my boys play WoW - can't understand why (I did try it) - worked out i'd get to level 70 in about a month, if I played it instead of EVE - where do you go then - but whatever floats your boat - i prefer EVE

Well, if half of our "EVE is too hard" whiners would move to WoW, and a tenth of their "WoW is too easy/grindage/whatever" whiners would come to EVE, I am quite sure the net balance would be quite favourable for EVE...

No game will appeal to everyone. The smart folks will eventually realize what games do not suit them and move on to something that does. The not-so-bright... well, around here, we send them back to WoW, or to Hello Kitty Online (for the truly lame).

if anyone actually does say that its just eve players that have accounts on both and want more targets
