Hello,
I recently had to switch from Vista back to XP. Now I have few graphics problems. I've uploaded two screenshots too. I had no problems with the same laptop and with Vista. I've reinstalled EVE. Tried Fujitsu-Siemens' Intel drivers and also drivers from Intel page. Got DirectX version 9.0c.
System Specs: Fujitsu Siemens S7110 Intel Core Duo T2400 @ 1.83GHz 1024MB DDR2 RAM Intel integrated 945GM grapchis 128MB Windows XP Professional
Planet Station
I'm not sure if the Station's graphics are messed up or they suppose to look like that. I'm sure that the ring around the planet is not supposed to look like that :P
Any suggestions or info how to fix my problem?
Thanks

LOL I've encountered that same problem too. But it clears up after a couple seconds. For me though my biggest issue is the damn flickering or strobing effect the graphics do when I try running both accounts at one time. I also found out from a friend of mine that there is what appears to be one hell of a memory leak somewhere in the route from Dunraelare sys to Goni. where the memory usage jumps from 1GB to 2GB. He found this out thur some memory monitoring setting in windows vista. Which makes me wonder if that is why i am having serious probs with running 2 accounts.

my system specs pretty much the same intel 945GM chipset too, having exactly the same graphic issues , it actually started right after i installed the latest intel drivers , roll back to previous drivers did not solved it , and now i am stuck with it .

I blame intel graphics cards. they are the WORST! I've seen eve on a machine with an intel graphics card that cant even render the character or station graphics correctly. The characters look like TV's when the cable goes out... nothing but scrambled colors. Intel Graphics cards just SUCK. However, my ATI Radeon Mobility x1400 displays eve very nicely. -------------------------------------------------- Leave my hair alone... |

That's not the issue here at the moment. The thing is that the graphics were fine before. And also I can't change my integrated card because I have a laptop if you noticed.

well, every computer i have run eve on with an intel graphics card, it has always done wierd things. and Ive tried it on a lot of different computers with intel graphics cards... on eve premium AND classic, so... there is a problem with either the game not working right on the intel graphics, or the cards just suck. -------------------------------------------------- Leave my hair alone... |

well , as i mentioned in my previous post , all worked good , until i installed the latest intel drivers that i found for my chipset , so the problem is defenetely the game not working right with this version of the drivers or vise versa , and not the card itself .
lets try to gather more info about this , im using the classic client , the current drivers that im using are 6.14.10.4864 ,for xp home edition , what drivers are you using Aero Zolic ?
is there anyone that using mobile intel 945 express chipset family and not having this problem ? if so , what drivers are you using ?
