In recent conflicts both hactors and dictors have been used inside pos shields. This activity does not put the hactor or dictor at risk while allowing them to effectively tackle attacking ships.
The use of area effect weapons within a pos shield with no risk to the person using them is contrary to the eve philosophy of taking risks to get kills. There is also the issue of imbalance as there is no counter to this activity.
This mechanic needs to be altered so that no area of effect warp disruptors or weapons will activate within the pos forcefield.
Any discussion is welcome.

I don't think this should be changed, because if they change it they could also possibly change bubbles outside of the pos from effecting ships inside the pos. And i rather like putting large bubbles outside of a pos to trap the doomed inhabitants

It should be changed. Just as carriers have to sit outside the shields to deploy fighters should 'dictors of any sort be required to sit outside the shield to use bubbles.

You both have very relevant points.
I support the use of anchorable bubbles and dictors/hactors outside of the pos shield. That is something that can be countered and puts assets in play. That is actually strategic and requires risk.
It's the ability to activate the dictor/hactor bubbles inside the pos forcefield where you can't shoot at them, and therefore you do not risk the ships. No counter and is therefore boring. Also getting kills with no risk is clearly unbalanced.

I agree completely.
The problem is activating a bubble from within the POS shields, not activating them outside teh shields to trap the people inside, which works fine.
It really doesn't look like it was intended to be like this.

The counter is not going within 20km of a hostile POS with a hostile dictor inside.

We need a POS-Module that deploys the bubbles then?

Yeah it's not like the bubble would pull you towards it or anything.

The simple solution is to add a standings requirement to POS shields
ah misread.. and assumed you meant inside a hostile POS.. dont really care about inside friendly POS's it's just part of the risk of attacking a POS.. _________________________ xMenta (DSMA) xBOS (CA) ATUK (.5.) DICE (BOB) xElcyion Lacar

I disagree with some ideas being put forward, the op makes a valid point and read what he is saying CAREFULLY.
Having red standings, imo, should not stop you getting into a hostile pos and bumping/bubbling the happless owners in, if the password doesnt get leaked then it doesnt happen, if you cant trust everyone in your blob then maybe you should cut back on a few of them.
If you can bubble people outside who are attacking the pos from inside the shield then it is a problem, as they can be killed but you are untouchable.
If you can get inside and bubble people in then it is ok, because imo, you cant be hurt, they cant be hurt, alls fair.
POS's are a tad too safe... the DD through shield thing kinda sucks (pretty sure that'll be fixed, msn > petitions) but making people in a pos 100% safe is a bit crap.
Just my ideas of how I would like it to work though...

they can be killed, it's normal, they attacked ! you are untouchable : In a real war, we like used tank against troopers, bombers against tank, or submarines against boat.
War is not a fair game. War is not a one vs one.
