Here is a small video that Dark uncle and R3d dragon did of a nice fleet fight we had in syndicate recently with some pirates. The battle is a bit laggey in places and the FPS drops a bit in places.
Hope u enjoy it, as much as we enjoyed the fight.

We've got a fair amount of footage at ranges that might be more to your taste :) It's just a matter of sequencing and audio syncronization...

Great movie, its nice to see a big fight taking place and im sure capturing it on fraps isnt something everyone would do, with the lag and all, so props for that.

yeah, the guys have got some good footage from all around, hopefully more vids will follow, lots of contrasts, 1v1s and smaller engagments, fleet battles at range usually means no1 dies, but we think they look totally amazing:) the missiles were INSANE:).
teamspeak was awesome, targets were getting called to b jammed left right and center, it wasnt easy, but everyone done real good.
we think if guys actually see what we do, they may not be so quick to judge..
i think zarquon hosted this movie for us, so a special thanks my friend:).
BTW, how good were the tunes, so fitting, and the first one is my all time favourite:)

Nope it was a 14v14 battle in K5-JRD, bettween [CELES][RKK][SCAPE] v [SPVD][TGD][BNCL][ZOMB]

3 [SCAPE]
1 [RKK]
oh and there was Isaac aswell :) he is the little purple dot in amongst all those yellow ones at the start of the film and the nutty little green one zipping about later (green because he CTD'ed, i think)

Any constructive criticism (but not the ATUK kind) is welcome. And TY Voice for telling everyone it was nasty FPS before they even watched it  anyway it was r3d who recorded the movie so blame his rubbish computer (only about a ghz faster than mine,lol  )

CELES vs Various CA
It was one of the better fleet battles thats happened around there. No massive losses but a nice clean fight with lots of fireworks. Like I said, it seemed to last longer than most warp-ins, which is what made it so good. |

Not bad. That computer needs some loving, and perhaps a pentium 4 backrub...
Shame about poor tenacha, both him and myself were set up for close range. I only warped in to draw fire.
Did you see my armor repairing? kickass.
I managed to grab a couple of vid clips of the fight, but as I was targetted by 5-7 people every time I warped in, I couldn't really hang around for too long.
Still, it was an interesting evening, and I'm glad to see everyone enjoyed themselves (except tenacha (who probably enjoyed it anyway, tbh)).

Now i know pentiums are better than AMD at the moment ... but it has always rubbed me the wrong way paying like 300-500 ú's for a decent chip.
Im an AMD person myself (always too tight fisted to let go of big money for a new comp) and the comp that r3d recorded the movie on has Just the day after been upgraded to a XP 3200+ Barton. Next all he needs is more memory and SATA hard drives and we hope it will record better next time
Note: Was a XP 2000+ with 512 mb memory & Geforce ti4200 128mb

Yeah our logs showed most of this missles hit nuffin. We didn't mean to be the "caldari fleet" when we set out that night, just ended up that way. A few heavy hitters were needed for that battle. Anyway I doubt we used 100 mil worth of cruises though they do look pretty on vids.
Oh u couldn't see it on that footage but a BNCL blackbird masterfloyd went down too.

Not intending to drag this way off topic, but:
I used to be an amd man too, my PC #2 is the same rig as yours (but with a 4400ti)
I bought a p4 2.4, clocked it up to 3.1 easily (like 10 clicks easy) for ú135
add mobo and ram, and it rolled in at just over ú300 which is pretty good.

Folks, thank us that we attack mostly everything, even 14 BS with our 9 that were setup for stopping and close combat - the game would be boring for you guys if we werent playing the aggressive forces of evil in this game. There was nothing but fun to gain for us in this battle.
5000-8000 missiles, CCP watch what u have done to the game...without Tenachas CTD this battle would need to be called: "the big ammo waste". Since months i say in all forums, that all weapons damage values have to be boosted and firing rates reduced. There is no reason for 2 experienced teams to fight each other - it¦s a simple ammo waste. 95% of attacked ships escape - even in fleet combat when fire is concentrated on 1 target. Does CCP think we are all stupid players that are happy with some nice explosion grafics? We want real action, a challange and not 20 seconds of ammo waste at camped gates or 15 minutes mega-ammo-waste in fleet combat.

try fleet battles at medium/short range, it rocks :D
or use frigates for warpscrambling at long range. |

Naw i thing the biggest problem in this battle was range for our side which was mostly missle users and and your side being ecm'd.
If they are gonan nerf ecm they'll need to make soem sort of missle, torp that works well in long range combat.
