I am ticked off at this.
During DT I play Halo3 on Xbox live, and I just had the strangest match ever.
In Rumble Pit (6 people, ffa), I got matched with a party of 5 people, one normalish name (Vitamin B25) and a group of those with similar names.
Okay I thought, so they are a clan (coroporation).
They did nothing but sit there the whole time, they had 0 kills those with the same name.
They were being killed by the other guy, and I realised it was all him, he had a 2nd 360 and was just dashing too them to kill them before I found him or his alts.
Game ended 25 to 13 - I killed his alts once because he probably had a 2nd TV and knew exactly where they were.
So I have him set to avoid and have him reported for cheating - make of this what you will and maybe set him to avoid as he is farming his rank up.

Wow. Whoever is doing this is very conscious about their e-peen and are thus living a very sad and lonely existence. Still, it keeps him off the streets and turning into a chav. Ergo we probably need more sad and lonely people on the planet to reduce crime rates.

People do that all the time, Battle field as well. Ranking in Fps was always a bad idea, no many wanted, people where happy using stats websites isntead of built in ones.
No one likes having to kill 1000's to get the next weapon.

At least PS made all the stuff you got merits for only count unique kills in a fifteen minute period.

LOL I remember the days that online statistics for C&C Generals was stored client side.
A friend of me used to have 1000 wins and 0 losses.

People farm anything with ranks. I stumbled in to the lobby of a game of Dawn of War once where one guys was farming it for a quick win. He just wanted the next "uber cool rank" next to his name. What a jack ass.
