Hi all,
I bought a new computer this week and tried to install and play eve on it. When i start EVE and get to the login screen it keeps saying that both the tranquillity and test server are down (its 7 hours after DT now).
Is it my comp or is CCP having big problems? Prolly is my comp.....could anyone tell me what i should do to get connection plz? (settings?, firewall?)
Thanks!

Edited by: Flaze on 26/03/2004 22:27:56 Here is a few things to look at....
Make sure your drivers and such are all upto date and you have directx 9.0b installed. Even though its a new pc make sure, cause many drivers are out of date before you get the PC.
Another is to also verify your new comp meets the video requirements since you didnt list them.
Amke sure your upto the latest patch and version on the client and did not some how corrupt on patching.
just things to check....
if you post more detailed info about your pc it would help also to maybe offer more in depth soltuins as there are many knowledgebale EvE hardware guru's on this board.
Cheers, Flaze

Firewall Settings :
Open port 26000 tcp and 26001 udp to and from 157.157.139.10 and it should work.
Also check out this link for connection related stuff.

Unfortunately, nothing worked so far. I tried what you guys said and what i saw on the link in the support section.
Any other ideas?
