1066 is a recently formed corporation in EvE, established by a few blokes after a drunken conversation where it was decided that a corp for UK based players who are grumpy, married and drunk would be a bloody good idea away from the political drama EVE can bring.
We are looking for fellow UK/GMT players, new or old to the game, who want to join a corp from the beginning and therefore having an influence rather than being just another number, a corporation whose aim is to create a fun, relaxed gaming group.
We don't care if you want to PvE, PvP, Mine or Trade we're here to have fun and enjoy the game, obviously with no assets to worry about we have a 0% tax rate
We are based out of Gallente space around the Mies area with good missions hubs, market place and of course nice low sec drop off points, with good small gang/solo fight potential.
Bar that all we ask is that when you're logged in you get involved in the chat (usually moaning about various things - cost of drink, fuel, kids, mortgage, football etc) and, most importantly of all, have a laugh.
If you're new to the game, we'll help you wherever we can, If you're super experienced and rich, we'll probably ask you to get the beers in !
Does this sound like fun to you? Are you a Victor Mildrew who's fed up with playing with 14 year olds, politics and hastle for playing a game !
We would love to hear from you if you just want a place to do your own thing alongside other GMT based chilled folk and gradually build the corp for whatever focus the members want.

Small corp starting out, would be great for older UK folk currently flying solo... no hastles just chill and get involved when/if you want.
Aim as far as I understand it is to earn isk during the week (Incursions bein the aim) and then lose it at the weekend in some drunk roam ;) |

Very interested. Currently joining incursions and doing some missioning in Caldari space when I can't commit to be on for long (kids/dog/wife quite often interupt my playtime before 7pm).
What are your long term goals if any? How often do you do incursions as a corp? How many actual members do you have (not alts)? Do you play any other games together? What is the wind speed velocity of a swallow?
I can offer a Logi 4 Basilisk and hopefully soon fitting a Tengu for Sniping or general DPS. Also have some little experience with frigate/AS PVP (mostly in a Jaguar - good British spaceship).

To be fair this weeks been quiet mate, few lads having a break for a few days/week and our partner incursion corps are under war dec.
So we've been chilling in low sec doing small pvp skirmishes which we enjoy and a few of the other lads have been chilling in missions etc and of course helping our blues with there anti pirate roams.
Member numbers therefore this week have been low with about five on in the evening I'm afraid but on teamspeak having a natter etc.
As a corp we "want" to run Incursion's as much as possible Mon-Thu however it's dependant on numbers online, allies online (not dec'd) and how much we cba with public's.
Jaguar is indeed a good old British spitfire :)

Back after a little bit of inactivity over Christmas (damm rl !!)
Were much less doing anti-pirate work these days, in fact the active lads are more into going towards the flashy red side ! :P
However if your an older Brit just looking for somewhere to chill, do your own thing and maybe join up with similar old farts on teamspeak and if it takes your fancy some low sec wandering then give anyone a nudge in the public channel "Grumpy Corner"
Freelance with 0% tax without the bollocks of eve's must do this that and the other and killboard effeiciency malarky we really don't care

Bump, recruiting and rebuilding slowly.
Grumpy freelancers just after a place to chill, chat, train, whatever were as relaxed as you can get.
Still got time for some low sec laughs and comedy kill mails as well, probably start up some group mission running this weekend but in general if your an older Brit with time restrictions and sitting in your own 0% one man corp or some NPC chat channel have a quick natter with us you might well find like minded married old farts here :)
Solo PVP'ers don't worry about any of this keeping killboard efficiency high etc, we don't care at all (still do ok as well actually!) but we've none of the rules or nonsense we've enough of that from our wives and RL ! |
