The damn thing is supposed to drain cap from the target and add it to your own capacitator. Unfortunatly someone 'forgot' to remove the activation cost of those modules. And a item that drains 30 cap from my ship to give me 30 cap from the target ship is useless.

At the moment a Vampire is just an Energy Drain with no activation cost. YOur amount gained covers your amount drained, so you lose no cap but the target does. Not working liek they should but still working.
I always thought that id you could get frig/cruiser/battleship class Vampires then they would be quit interesting, get too close to the BS you are hamstringing in your frigates and it can suck you dry, or a cloud of frigates with 2-4 of these armed draining a BS's battery would be a new thing to see.

The nosferatus are not good enough. I just tested the heavy nosferatu, and I realized that it wasnt giving me any cap The guy I was draining it from said that he really didnt notice that he was losing any cap at all, since his recharge rate was faster than the 100 energy drain every 12 secs...... all in all, not worth the huge PG and CPU reqs....

yup, I don't think this fix would be a lot of work... should defenetly have priority over 'features' like switching off modules in space... I thought I read some time back that CCP wants to fix their bugs now first before adding things... it defenetly would make sense as it is those small bugs that don't take long to fix but annoy people that make the game look 'unfinished'.
Your 280mm 'Scout' Artillery I perfectly strikes Sansha's Scavenger, wrecking for 264.3 damage.
