Are there any good programs that could be used to make personnel files? Just information that is indexed by name, nothing too charty.
Is there any way to import that data into your eve notes on chars?
Is there any way to securely share the information with a small group (directors, etc)?
These would be purely qualitative notes and don't need to link to the API. |

What you mean as "personnel files" just simple text files that contain minutes of a conversation, action plans, director contact number etc etc ?
You could use tools like Evernote or Springpad, they are both free, online, can be accessed through a desktop app, mobile app and through a web browser. They include sharing capabilities with friends, syncing etc. They are also not limited to just plain 'ld text but come with adequate formatting option + the ability to include images and video.
It will probably meet your security needs as well.
Not sure about importing them apart from copy + paste (but you can probably access their site through the IGB) |

Firstly those are some pretty awesome ideas.
The only grievance I have is that these are based on individuals, rather than alts. So a system that could identify people by multiple aliases might be better.
TBH though evernote looks like it has potential just because it's online (yay hyperlinks for easy linkage between aliases!). If you're unable to offer any more info / better suggestions, I still really appreciate it; what's been given so far is a big help, ty! :) |
