His pencil halted briefly as his gaze flickered and was blurred by an explosion of thoughts. "What is this bastard freedom if it is not absolute?" Why were dreams and their hope so saturated with this passion, this longing, craving for an expression that didnt exist, nor had no real meaning. Freedom seemed like the wind, only visibly in its path, through its destruction of reality, its sweeping nature of insinuating truth, as if there was some kind of universal coherence, a biological truth other than life and death.
No, there was indeed nothing but felt pain, nothing significant but the illusionalized truth in sorrow. False tears and empty hearts. It was all a lie, even the greatness of birth seemed to faint. What is birth, but the eternal return to rebirth and death, an endless spiral of supposed and maybees.
What was existance but mere words, uttered in everlasting bias towards root?
So why do we fight? Why dont we just give in to the lie, that is so well expressed and so illuminated like a thousand true suns in front of us?
Why do we act when everything we can possibly do is based on a lie?
For the hell of it. To be the significance in the insignificance. To set fire to the invisible ring of freedom, our body politique, to our prison.

Sick...this is feeling I have when the people's front talks about fighting for freedom. All you guys ever free are your own capsule's from your ships. Leave the boasting about freedom fighting for those that don't get owned whenever they are in battle.

Lamech, to my knowledge (and I run our kill and lost list) you've a) never shot down one of our ships, b) never been shot down by us, so how do you know how good we are?
get a life... get freedom
btw, those chips are deangerous things, sure if people want to submit to em to get out of a crappy life, then fine, but as with all radical re-programmings.... there's always going to be possible side-effects

Eh....just because I have not shot at you are been shot at by you doesn't mean I don't have knowledge to how the members of your corporation fight. Just today you lost 2 battleships....face the facts...you guys are not good freedom fighters.
learn how to fight or keep your mouth shut...
oh and btw please put me on your kos list...I will gladly prove my accusations of the people's front anytime I see you....

There was a time would I would have said otherwise, however after serving under the Ammatar Governor, I am proud to serve under him and see the wisdom in every decision he makes.

I'm sure you are an agrieved pilot who has some former grudge to bear now hiding behind this character. That's fine. Although I am curious to see who you are and why you feel so strongly. Oh and as far as the KoS list, it's easier than that, just come to where we hang out, I'm sure with your excellent contacts and your incredible knowledge of the Front that would present no problem.
Look forward to seeing you!
Oh and if losing a ship to a fleet of 15 makes me a bad pilot... well a win would have been miraculous don't you think?

a prison is still a prison even if you make them blind to the bars and deny them their free will.
it is a good thing that the press are firmly controlled. A free press would indeed report a very different story.

Actually, can you collect about twenty forms for me please. I seem to currently have more adoptees than work for them, so sending them out to work and then managing their wages for them is an excellent idea.

At least they're realising the tactics are thus far effective, and trying to counter/mimic them. Can't fault them for adopting effective tactics during a war, can you?

What's so ironic is I saw two PIE in system, thought I'd undock and check them out but keep close to the station, not open fire in case there was backup one jump away. Next thing my local went crazy and I was approaching the station at 20m/second thanks to the webby.
