Hello, I need help in regards to being a pirate, I have no idea on how to set up a frigate and no idea where to hunt other players. If I could atleast Be pointed in the right direction i would appreciate it. Thanks.

Come to HED....It is a system that gets lots of traffic and in your rifter you should do very well
just a question.....how many skill points do you have?

May I suggest reading the other sections? Like 'Ships and Modules'? Some really good tips there for whatever you want to do in whatever ship.

rifter setup to gank indies/frigs/cruisers
high slots
2 standard launchers (.36 capacity) with cruise missles.
1-2 random small proj cannons
med slots
1mn mwd and warp scrambler I
low slots
overdrive injectors if you don't need powergrid/cpu upgrades
happy ganking

hed-gp is not where you want to go, its frequently camped by battleships and alliances. try ur luck in any of the outer regions (0.0-.4) space. try and find a mining op and pop indies. that setup will take on pretty much any cruiser except for the thorax (hybrid tracking speed too high). don't be afraid to go against a rupture/caracal/bb. just pray they don't have a webber.

finding someone who doesnt just warp away as you approach in 0.4 space is pretty hard

If you want to start frigate fighting (and piracy is just fighting, with the added benefit of making money sifting through the debris of your victims), you might want to talk to the Mercenary Frigates. They are a frigate-heavy combat corp with a lot of good knowledge and tactics between them. Spend a few weeks with them and you'll have a nice start in the world of frigate combat.

i'd have to agree with that statement. merc frigs is probly where you want to be. with the amount of empire wars they have right now you'd get alot of action/experience in very little time. go ahead and convo grimster, tell him awil sent you

You're welcome to join the fun - the more the merrier.
But, be prepared to die a lot, and be prepared to lose a lot of ships. MF is not a good corp for people with 40mil worth of implants.

tsk tsk tsk - there is no way "becoming" one
either u are pirat and do the "thing" - or u are the subjekt of laughter in sector
Then the other thing - Dont expekt to get rich while "pirating"
mining is realy much more proffitable and lower risk.

b) Minimise all chat channels; after all, who wants to socialise?
c) Turn up the volume on your speakers; you want really LOUD explosions, don't you?

errr - if i dont get u compleatly wrong - Lamers Are the pirats
and then there is the Honorable PVP pilots - but they are not pirats ....
