Well I am still quite new to eve (only 6.5 mill SP no alts) .. and I have progressed along alright.. I can do most level 4s without a problem .. Including stuff like pirate invasion with 18 blood raider battleships against my tank which holds quite nice.. But for some reason i have been rejecting worlds collide because of a lack of information..
I have read the mission survival guide for it .. many times.. and i cant work out what triggers what.. whether the 2nd room has a full agro part agro ..
Now i know there are other forum posts on worlds collide and i have read alot of them but cant find the answers to the Blood Raider ones...
My questions are... I know the first room is 2 gates.. far apart .. with groups of blood raiders and angels around each (I know zors card can unlock the gate and go straight through but i want to fight it) ..
If i fire at blood raiders does it agro angels ?
Is there a particular order i should fire at the particular groups..
the 2nd rooms for angels/blood raiders ..
when entering do u get auto agro from whole room if u dont attack and turn and get distance question goes for each of the 2nd pockets
i have heard if you release drones it gives full ago.. on the guritas/serp mission i heard that if u kill a spy that it gives full agro.. but what i want to know is .. Blood raiders/angels.. is that the same?.. is there a ship(s) i should leave to last..
basically i dont like to fight in the middle of the group...
Another question blood raiders do they NOS in this stage .. Its ok if they do .. as long as i can get the distance i need :)
Finally the last room.. again do u get auto agro from the whole room .. how can you prevent this..
Any ideas on this would be great... the last room has angels and blood raiders i take it .. so whats the best armour resists for a amarr apoc tanker? i can give myself great blood raider resists but then my explosive/kinetic will be low.. i can give myself an all round resist .. but still some are only 70%
Seems like a lot to ask.. but i assume people have done this mission lots so I would just like to know can i do it .. or should i reject it like normal

I usually fit my ship for Angels, take out the Angel side followed by the Angel 2nd pocket, then refit for Bloods and take out all the Bloods in the mission.

Yes. In the Angel pocket you're auto aggroed by two Angel Spies, nothing more. If your drones or a buddy aggro these spies, the entire room is aggroed. In the Blood pocket you're auto aggroed by two Blood Raider spies, and I think a BS or two. Again, don't let your drones or a buddy aggro the spies.

No full aggro unless a buddy or drones aggro the spies.

Last stage only contains Blood Raiders. Only half of the room auto aggroes on warpin. Easy room.
The mission is cake as long as you don't let your drones aggro the spies. Keep 'em in passive mode for the second pockets and you'll be golden.

Edited by: Galen DreVahn on 01/02/2008 13:59:09 2nd Blood room: 3 BS's argo with the 2 spies. You're safe to start shooting the BS's but don't fire on the spies like the other post said. Just fly away from the other two groups. I pick off the group with the destroyers next, and then kill the spies to argo the last group.
Also, yes, there is NOS. Blood Oracle BS's do, and there are alot of them in this mission. I just take them out before the other BS's. They also orbit closer than the Archons.
2nd Angel room: I usually take out the group with the Webbers/Vipers 1st, then the other group with frigs, and the BS group last. (argo'd from killing the spies) An Overseer can spawn in this room, (from my experience, they always do) but the time it takes to spawn is random. I've had it there upon entry, and had it spawn 2 hours later and over 6 hours later. Never received any faction loot yet thou. :(
Last room only has Blood, btw. Be ready to kill webbing/scrambling frigs upon entry and fly away from the gate to avoid argoing the 2nd group. |

Harbingers NOS, but I don't think there's Harbingers in WC.

Funny, I watched them do it as I ran the mission for a week daily for the angel salvage since AE has supposedly been removed. Only time I have to worry about my Abaddons' cap is when I have 3-4 Oracles on me.
