Maybe someone said this before, but anyway, In the case where someone gets hit accidentally by a missle that was not intended for them, or in fact, in any case where concord will be automatically summoned to you - Maybe if CCP can implement a feature that will first notify and ask you if you need help? I mean, just a simple pop up that will say something like: "Our scanners have sensed that you were attacked, Do you require assistence? And then a Yes or No option.
Simple, no?

How about that Concord will not respond to hits from normal missiles if they were not fired while you were locked?

This wasn't only intended for accidental missle shots. I meant it to be for pretty much every single case that would of normally brought concord warping to you and blasting the **** out of you for a false reason.

For targetted missiles, CONCORD doesn't respond if you hit someone other than your intended target. I know this for a fact because it happened to me.
I was training up some noobs in Pator with an alt when I fired off a pair of havoc heavy missiles to show the kids what missiles were like. However, one of them flew across the flight path of one of the missiles and was hit dead on. CONCORD did nothing to me, nor even appeared.

How about instead of CONCORD coming in with guns a blazing they come in and completely immobilize and drain the cap of the aggressors ship for about 10 mins, long enough for the victim to get away. This way, if it was an accident you just lose 10 mins of play time, instead of your ship. If the attack causes your sec level to fall below a certain value then CONCORD will actually attack you, otherwise they'll just scramble/web/cap drain.

Actually, might be better to have graduated CONCORDE responses: in addition to the 10 minute de-cap or wiping your ship howzabout you instead get locked down (and cloaked too perhaps so you can't be targeted) and unable to do anything for 20, 30, 60 minutes >>game time<< (rather than RL time)?
We can call them "Time outs" - I'm sure many of the gankers are familiar with the term.

Don't they? I know that sentry guns will fire on you if you hit someone with a missile this way (ask me how I know ).
