You're taking away the MWD penalty bonus, and replacing it with quite possibly the worst bonus ever? the armor rep bonus is awful on the Hyperion, it's awful on the Myrmidon, and it'll be awful on the Deimos. If you could give us an armor plate HP bonus when we fit a plate.........then I'd love you forever!!! Failing that, just leave it as is, please.

Doesn't hurt the brutix in any way shape or form so how is it going to hurt the deimos with it's already boosted tank? well, take it like this: the changes that will come, as they are will be the death of our dear all-neutron, 3 mfs, buffer only, deimos, since the subsequent loss of a low slot and to use the most out of the rep, you'll need to slap a 800mm plate, injector and MAR. let's just say that in an all-ion config with MAR you don't have any space left to fit anything else, wich means that you'll need to go electrons. sure you can slap ACR's but tbh, when a ship needs a fitting mod it means you're gimping the setup already. wich is how the ship shines the most. also you can fit an injector, and you'll have cap charges for... 3/4 burns, if you want to pack ammo that is. the deimos cargo bay is not that big. --- planetary interaction idea!

Well because of the high DPS taken in most PvP engagements, usually you only get only get a couple of repairer cycles in before you sink, so it's often better to plate. To be honest the rep bonus doesn't do enough on medium armor repairers, it takes a good while for them to regenerate the same amount of HP you would get from a plate, by which time you are already dead. You need a couple of faction LAR's to make the rep bonus really shine.
Galad Versuvias Scientific Industries	Posted - 2008.02.02 23:09:00 - [24] Err.. well i fitted a Deimos earlier on SISI with : 5x Heavy Ion blaster IIs 1x10mn MWD II 1x Warp disrupter II 1x X5 web 1x 1x Electrochemical injector 1x MAR II 1x EANM II 1x DC II 1x EXp hardner II 1x Mag stab II Fitted fine, although i had to leave the 6th high slot empty, if that was switched to a low it would be perfect tbh with another mag stab in there. But then again i dont really fly the current Deimos on TQ at all, so cant comment on its current effectivness vs. SISI

Genuine oops there. Forgot about that low we'd have to give up. Hrmmm conondrum. I do like active tanking setups and I do like plated setups. However with a ship that costs in excess of 100m isk that you cannot insure fully, I'm still not comfortable with putting it in the line of fire without some kind of active defence. Buffers are great with friends around but active or buffered way you're still gonna die if you get caught out.
