Where would you land and what would you do?
Assume it is a one stop thing and use the parrelel universe theory so causality dosen't affect you.
As to what I would do, for now it is [CLASSIFIED INFORMATION], but I will tell you later

I'd skip forward to the time of either Warhammer 40k, Mass Effect, or some random Gundam series (doesn't really matter which they're all the same at the end of the day), for maximum pew pew of course.

I would buy a book detailing the outcome of all major sporting events in the last 10 years before going back in time, giving that same book to my 10 yr-old self who would thus never lose when gambling and would grow up to become rich and powerful

You only get to make one trip, right?
But there's so many things to do!
Like civilising the dinosaurs, although I'm wondering if it would be better to get them a space program so they survive and colonise other planets but leave Earth, or just getting them to build up a vibrant civilisation filled with great works of art literature and culture, just for it to all be swept away by the asteroid.
Or appearing at every major assassination and saying "Look out!", drive the conspiracy theory people mad if the same person appears in photos and accounts of events. Look out! Mr Lincoln!, Look out, Archduke Ferdinand!, Look out! Mr Kennedy!, etc. etc.

I'd go forward, get some good orbital plasma weaponry and/or antimatter missiles, go back to the Cretaceous, blow up the asteroid, and come back to the 21st century to see what the smart lizards have built.

Man if I had a time machine I would go back to last night or well saturday morning at 2:50am and have myself ready in a different position to kick the **** out of this F**Ker before he hit me on the head with a nunchaku he found in my house and causeing me to get 5 staples. Stupid wiggers and thinking there thugin
really though I practice with em in my garage and was out there smoking with him and a few other people. he saw them and stood up grabbed em walked away from the group and started messing with em. I got up and started talkin about how to use them and then bam. *****ed my skull, then a second time me seeing stars and in instinct mode block the 3rd blow with my forearm and break the nun chaku. run inside and find allies to go rumble. Little **** ran away dont even know who he was. What you get for having a big party with a lot of unknowns
heads doing great short a nunchaku have a great story. but if i had a time machine Id be right there ready for him oooo the glory would be mine.
