For about the past 3 or 4 days now I have been unable to access evemon, i keep encountering the following error upon opening evemon;

Perhaps your cache or settings are corrupt... Evemon's error handling doesn't seem to be that great.
Could also be just regular bug too... Dunno if there is anything else to do beside clearing your settings.
Mine saves the data to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\EVEMon (Windows XP)... you could try deleting that, but then you'll lose all the settings so I suggest you make copy of it first in case that's not the problem.
Perhaps you should post at Evemon's forum at Battleclinic

Check the clock on your pc. I had set mine back a year once while I was at work for a project and had forgotten to change it back to the correct year and evemon wouldn't continually throw errors until I set the correct date.

I had the exact same problem. I deleted cashe, character and even went as far as un-intalling and re-installing in a different physical drive. Finally, I heard that maybe my clock was off. I figured I had tried everything, so why not try that too. Turns out my clock was a year behind I don't know how it got that way, and as far as I know it, I never messed with my time settings. But the date was indeed wrong, and when I fixed that, evemon ran like a charm again. I just wished I had done that first. If I had, all my plans would had still been intact and I would not have to rebuild them from scratch again.
