Xanos Blackpaw Amarr The Firestorm Cartel	Posted - 2008.02.02 19:49:00 - [1] i am thinking of starting to do some small time low sec when i'm bored and i'm looking for a prefect pirate ship. here are the rules: 1) cheapish 2) if its a frig it much fight outside of web range 3) must be able to kill stuff 4) no rigs 5) no thorax...i dont realy like them Playing minmatar is "like going down a flight of stairs in a office chair firing an Uzi".

Good thing about a ruppy is you can jump a hauler and down on a gate and still get away with the goods. Don't blame me, blame the main I'm supporting.

Was kinda funny 2 days ago, I flipped some Triumvirate guy's can (he's 4 years old), waiting in anticipation hoping he'd bring something nice. Most people tend to show up in bigger stuff I can't really handle unless they're very young/stupid. This guy brought a Thorax so that makes it cool, I saw him undock from the station and got ready, my mistake was to already launch my drones. When he warped to the belt he had a look at me NOT being impressed by a 4 year old Thorax (I hadn't moved an inch) and my ECM drones and figured he didn't want any of it and left. Ruppie ftw. Feilamya	Posted - 2008.02.03 13:52:00 - [16] Arbitrator or Vexor (I prefer the Arbi because it has an extra med slot, bonuses that are actually useful and enough grid for 2-3 medium nos/neuts, depending on fitting) Hurricane (More expensive but much more cost-effective than a Rupture, IMHO! I've compared the costs of replacing one (insurance + fitting) with two reasonable T2/named fittings and found that the Hurricane costs only twice as much. Now compare what you can do with each of the two and make your choice... if you jump in a blob, a cane has roughly the same chances of getting away as a plated Rupture or a Gallente drone brick (aka Vexor))

Usually I keep the ECM rather than the sensor booster to bug out if the target pulls something unexpected on you..., like mates. I know those blasters aren't really that good without damage mod, use autocannons if you have the skills for less cap use.

A Ruppy with 3x gyro, eanm and a 1600mm plate, some guns in high and mwd, disruptor and web in mids, pack with 5 drones and it has some nice DPS for a little cruiser, with a decent HP-buffer. The stabber for some 220mm guns, a gyro in low with overdrive, nano and I-stab, MWD and disruptor in mids. Even with tech I setup you can kill outside webrange if you have decent/good skills. Oh, dont forget the lonely drone for good luck! RB
