Greetings all, I decided to pick up Eve after going through a huge long boring sprint of not playing any games at all. I played Eve Back in Beta but never really got too into it, probably because the g/f at the time kept *****ing at me to get off the comp.
Anyways, what I'm looking to do is have a ship thats good for mining since when I'm at work I will be using remote access to my home PC to mine, and when I'm actually at home I would like to go hunt some NPC pirates ( or what ever their called ) but I am having the absolute hardest time figuring out what kind of ship will suit my needs.
If anyone could offer some suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
Oh !! almost forgot how do I get my characters Avatar to display :p

Your avatar will appear in a few hours probably. As for the ship, its difficult to say going on what you have said - are you talking frigate or cruiser?
Since I am not sure what you are after its tricky, but a good all round cruiser for mining and NPC rat hunting is probably the Thorax (a gal ship). Since you are caldari it will probably mean getting some new skills, but its worth it.

Thanks on the Avatar. Currently I am looking for a Frigate, Cruiser is a long ways off for me at this time, Im all ready looking into other races ships. What Im looking for in a Frigate, is something that I can turn into a miner for when im at work. When I get home I'd strip the mining gear off and throw on some weaponry and go pirate hunting.
