I think i heard in a live dev blog that those changes were made
to stop mineral compression.
but imo the way that it was done coused more problems than it solved.
like carriers not beeing able to have full DCU¦s and logistics fits in its cargo
and do ppl even bother with looting anymore...i don¦t
T1 items beeing 3-4x larger than it¦s named variations is just dumb
so anyway.. WHEN CCP WILL U CHANGE IT BACK

what they do need to do is to remove the normal t1 mods from the loot table making t1 a production only thing just like t2

You don't loot? More fool you, then. I got enough loot to build a Rokh from 3 days worth of ratting.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

And this is why CCP should remove T1 loot from the tables. You make more minerals (and ISK) with ratting than with mining in the same area with mining involving a greater risk.

Why would they fix it?
What they did was an easy peasy cludge. Fixing it properly would be quite hard and the changes would get 100 threads from carebears whining about manufacturing wastage.
