Hi,
I have seen a couple of sheets where they say mining agent give +- 5% kill, 85% courier and 10% mining. But i get atleast 75% kill missions and almost no courier or mining missions. Don't you think it's weird a mining agent won't give me much mining missions? And i realy am a bad fighter so i often have to cancel a mission just becaus it's to hard. Are there any agents that give more mining missions? Live is hard as a miner, as fighters can do both but miners usually can't fight that much. In real life that pretty much of the opposite.
Also, where can i find a decent advanced forum search tool? I could not find anything just a search that ends up giving not much info.

Mining missions are somewhat rubbish - They take too long, and you can't keep the ore you mine. The rewards aren't close to what you'd earn mining in a belt yourself.
If you still wanna do them, try Astrosurveying agents, they give out 25% mining.

so bottem line is that if you want to interact with NPC corporations you got to handle guns. Great i thought this game was different from the other MMORPG's around. It still is kinda but not as much as i suspected. Nonetheless i still like this game and reset my goals from a big ice mining ship wich i could fit in like 6 days, to a advanced cruiser with weapons and do the mining as a side job.
If anyone else have sugestions how i can get an honorably position at a corporation without using guns i like to hear it.

You could join a corporation that has a good standing with them?

Many mining missions typically have lots of additional ore besides the mission target ore (veld & scord most often). If you want to just turn over fast to get standing, just bring in the mission target ore. That will improve your standing quickest. But there is nothing stopping you from cleaning up some or all of the additional ore in the mission.
