I guess this is the best place to post this I'm bored in high sec and I'm willing to admit I'm not exactly prepared for the low sec pirate life so I created this char and made a corp so I can war dec some smaller corps and get some action.
I'm not patient enough for can flipping so Its all about the war decs and I'm looking for advice on how to start this off and also offer anybody else in the same boat as me a place in the corp, I'm not really a CEO its just a place for someone who wants a corp where they can get up to some high sec naughties and have some fun.

War dec bigger corps if you want action. Deccing smaller corps gets you station camps and the occasional noob kill. ---------------------------

It won't be long before you find out that wardeccing 800 member alliances still gets you few fights... -- Anything I said above is subject to the standard provision: Alts subvert it, and make it untrustworthy. |

I don't know... we're not specifically targetting them as far as I'm aware.

I was running a small empire war corp for about a year, with <10 members. The best targets were the mid sized mission running corps, say 30-80 members. They'll be confident because they have big ships and lots more people. Smaller industrial corps will hide all the time, big alliances spend most of their time in 0.0. You could dec other PvP corps, but if you dec another small one you won't see much of each other and if you dec a large one you'll probably just lose a lot of ships. ---------------------------

If you really want to, war dec some small (but preferably larger than you) industrial corporations who will get you a few funny fights with shield tanking omens or some such. After that, once you get a feel for your corporation and what its members are capable of, move on to larger targets who really are a huge threat.
I'll tell you my favorite experience from our past large war dec. First battle catches us completely off-guard, enemy outnumbers us and we are completely screwed. We warp to safe spots and keep switching (never dock, your pilots are stuck then) from the first fight I was convoed and told "y war dec if u wont fight u coward?" I never responded, sometimes I just like to let my actions speak for me.
We couldn't face them head on, so we pushed our advantages where we could and pulled back once our damage was done. Claimed a drake, blackbird and a cerebrus in one lucky go and retreated with no casualties (in fact we never lost one ship this whole war). Eventually, the final battle came to be and we fought our enemy in equal numbers and completely decimated their fleet through the use of ECM and superior support (nothing like turning off that fancy absolution with a radar jammer, eh?)
There is nothing like having the same person who called you a coward one week before, ask for a ransom after he has seen his entire fleet disappear without inflicting a single casualty.

No war dodging in my idea buddy. just pure gme mechanics and if you look at it the industrial players will be giving you exactly what you want.

Damn, if I hadn't just joined an alliance this week I'd definitely wardeck you. You sound like a good and eager opponent that my good, eager corp might cut it's teeth on. Oh well, see you in lowsec. May I just say, Khanid is lovely this time of year, come on over.

Funny to see pirates that havent found easy enough targets in 0.0, end up in empire trying to pick a fight with corps that dont focus on PVP. Why dont you grap a pair instead and fight each other, if you are so eager to PVP? Yes its all about griefing
I will only recommend that Industrial corps who get wardecced, just stay out of their way, either by spreading out, stay docked, play with an alt, anything to deny the pirtaes the opportunity to PVP. I find it funny when when I talk to players who have had their characters station camped for hours, while they have been plying with an alt somewere else Well that is how carebear grief pirate players, boring them to death |
