We may not take the game itself too seriously (as a lowsec non-terrotorial alliance it's pretty hard to) and we generally post in good humor.
However we do take our out of game friendships and the trust we've built up after playing Eve together literally for years a lot more seriously. I mean, going to the toilet in the pub and coming back to find someone had swiped your pint would be a bit sucky. 
Had this been a simple case of corp infiltration and theft, or had it been a case of a member simply spilling our forums onto Eve-O, it would have been a none issue as it's all within the bounds of the game.
What bothered me was the person who did this was offering to knowingly sell a member of our corp's personal details over the internets for internet spaceship monies that was embedded in a .PDF of our Veto Investments outline.
As a long term and trusted member of our corp for a little under a year, Ikthorn Balhar had pretty much unrestricted access to all our T2 modules, munitions, drones and supplies. Thankfully due to the dilligence of our corp members, he's recently been re-employed by Caldari Provisions before he could make off with any of our loots or shiny stuff.
Apparently he's leaving Eve, but please be aware that he's not to be trusted. He's pretty much lied to and manipulated the entire corporation to cover his tracks since this kicked off.
Thankfully he was sloppy enough not to go un-noticed by everyone.
Just a heads up for anyone who may come into contact with him in future for recruitment.

that sucks, though at least they werent juust some throwaway alt. Personally I prefer it if the one playing the spy/informant has the risk of suffering real ingame consequences (in terms of their main character being made a pariah to any that do a background check) for being exposed. That said, sucks that they betrayed longbuilt up trust, but thats just one of the quirks of eve I guess, & potentialy giving out rl data is out of order. Least u caught them before they did nething significantly damaging.

Nice to see you got it all cleared up. When something like that happens it either wrecks everything to hell or makes the target of such treachery stronger then before. Nice to see that people I know and respect in Eve, and sometimes get to fly with fall into the second category.

If he wants to sell personal details, you kick him from corp, and how does that stop him selling your personal details?
Sounds like you've still got perceived big troubles.
I say perceived because I find it a bit presumptuous that people would actually want to meet you in real life. I don't. I trust that's reciprocated.
