Hi all.
I have read a few FAQ's and I have a few unanswered questions.
I know I need to have a CORP standing of 7+ to the faction of the empire of space I want to anchor my POS, but I also read that it takes roughly 1 week for a newly founded corp to get its standings. Is that true? How long from founding a corp would I have to wait to anchor my POS?
The reason for this is, I intend to invite other players whose standings are not high enough so will drop the corps average down, sointend to anchor the POS before I invite them.
The other thing I wanted to ask, can I have more than 1 POS? Ideally what I'd like to do is have 2 POS in the same system, but keep one offline for the time being and activate it when the corp gets a little bit bigger. Is this also possible?

Correct it takes aproximately one week for standings to reach your own assuming youre the only one in corp as it will approach and average of the members standing.
Since you have to have standings and standing takes 7 days to kick in => 7 days
You can have as many POS in the same system as you' d like, assuming that there are free moons....

Yeah it will be just me as I have the standing for the time being, My intention was to anchor a 2nd POS but keep it offline as I wont be able to do so once everybody else is in the corp.

You need corp standing of 5-7 to anchor in high sec (5 for 0.5, 6 for 0.6 etc)
You need corp standing of 4 to anchor in empire space (0.4 and up). [Edit - they may have removed the standing requirement for 0.4 systems (??)]
Low sec is empire too!!!
And yes, corp standing can take up to a week to update. |

Corporate standing is updated every downtime, and is a simple average of the standing toward an entity (faction) of all members that have been in the corp 7 days or more, and that have non-null standing toward the same entity.
Members with null standing (no standing icon for that entity appears in their standings tab) are not included in the average.
As a consequence of the above, if a corp only has members with null standing, and a non-null member joins for a week then leaves, that corp will keep the standings of the non-null member.
You need a corporate standing of 10 times the security level of the system to anchor in hisec, plus at least one of the appropriate charter in your cargohold (it is not consumed).
You do not need corporate standing to do anything other than anchor the control tower. Once it is anchored, you can always anchor anything else. |

I Do Believe That It Was Removed.No Standing Needed For Low Sec I Believe.If not...fail
