In short, say i have a pos in empire space. get wardecced, and before they get to the pos i put on some guns. can i control them?

Yes, it was added in a recent patch. You can only shoot at war targets or people who have agressed your corp though.

Its definatly a possability that it might be either the negative to a positive or the positive to a negative, whether this is directly related to the guns, is another maybe not positive negative result.
So in short, its a 50/50 chance that it might be no or could not be yes.

Patch added the functionality of highsec gun control against wartargets, and unless it's bugged, it should work.
