I'll admit, Carthem's fleet lottos have inspired me. In fact, it makes me want to put on a lotto of my own. So here it is.
I will be basing this lotto on the UK lottery bonus ball, so there will be 49 tickets, each costing 5 million ISK.
The person with the winning ticket will be able to choose a tier 2 battleship (Tempest, Megathron, Raven, Apocalypse) to receive. The winning number +5 and the winning number -3 will each recieve a tier 1 battleship (Dominix, Scorpion, Armageddon, Typhoon) of their choosing. You'll have to pickup the ships yourselves, as I neither have the skill to fly them to you or the skill to fly a hauler to deliver them.
If all tickets aren't sold by 3 weeks from now(February 25), all money will be refunded to those who sent it. The drawing will be the next Wednesday or Saturday after all of the tickets are sold.
Please send the payment to Tamausare, put in the comment on what ticket numbers it's for. The prizes will default to the next number in line(winners excluded) if you win and don't accept the contract within 2 weeks.
If there's any questions, send me an Evemail. People who have hosted lottos before, if there's something I missed or need to change in here let me know.

Well, if there is a drawing and you win, we'd have to talk about that. I don't have the skills to fly or transport a battleship, so I'd have to buy them in a location that's convenient to you...

I have been browsing through these lotteries and honestly most of the time I am kinda scared that the lottery might be just a scam and I end up passing it. There could be service managed by someone trusted like BIG lottery or whoever that would ensure that the prize actually exists, that would probably make people less cautious. However, your lottery is pretty cheap and I dare to risk 10 million. Tickets 6 and 7 please.

Thank you to everyone who's posted in here for the advice, but I suppose all I can do at this point is try and raise my credibility by running an honest lottery. Out of curiosity SheriffFruitfly, is there anything I can do to prove to you that this isn't a scam?

Surely its not bannable, after all corporate scams arent bannable and i dont see the difference here?

Nothing, absolutely nothing stopped me from keeping all of the money after I canceled the lottery, and that's part of the reason I think this lottery wasn't successful. I don't have a reputation for being honest, or any reputation at all for that matter, and people were wary. That being said, ask any of the people who bought tickets for this lottery and they'll tell you that they got their money refunded promptly.

I got my money back very quickly, and I must say I wish I hadn't, I was looking to have a drawing. I think people will trust you now Usar, just gotta try again. The Fleet Lotto's ( where are the new ones!?!?) Backed you, but word your intro with more confidence next time and I think you will do fine.
