I also managed to log on, took a mission, courier type with 40 minute limit.. now I cant get anywhere but Tuning in on Sub-space frequency.. meh!
The forums seem kinda slow too, but perhaps all the players are here right now :) -- Explore, mine, have fun.. pick any two :)

I tried to leave a space station and now I'm staring at the "Entering Space" screen. Rebooted twice and still nothing. Is this what being "stuck" somewhere is called ?

Yup, Same problems here. I dont care what anyone from ccp says, the more players we get logged on the worse the lag gets.

Maybe the problem is 5k+ people are trying to log on at the same time?

The route is flapping big time in iceland. It's a problem on their end that is affecting the whole game.
10 124 ms 122 ms 121 ms bcr3.tsd.cw.net [195.2.1.15] 11 122 ms 122 ms 128 ms iar1-loopback.Thamesside.cw.net [166.63.210.7] 12 124 ms 124 ms 123 ms iceland-telecom-ltd.Thamesside.cw.net [166.63.21 .6] 13 * * * Request timed out.
That be the problem.... and why this web site is slow too.

I say they should e-mail us on when we can play this game, cos it seems as though it's not of our choosing.
What's the use of being proud for breaking records every weekend when a lot of people are complaining of either lags at gates and stations and sometimes can't even activate their characters.
I say we establish a bet division where we bet on how many times the servers get rebooted in a week. Could make a fortune out of it.
Well, i'm just ranting now. But i love this game and i want to enjoy it when i want to. What's bad about that.
There i'm gonna go and try to activate my character now. ________________________________

strange thing is that I can log on with this character but my main gets stuck on the 'tuning in on sub-space frequency' which sort of suggests that the problem is server related

Servers are in London, not Iceland (and i think forum/site server is in London too)

Well, it says iceland, not london. :P
WHEREVER IT IS ... the router config needs to be reverted to prior. I see the route flapping, and every time it flaps to the right direction...
AH HAH! It's stable. Route not flapping anymore, game playable.... [BTLS] Canis Lupus Military Lt. General - "I was around before all the dummies became mans best friend." |

Probably network problems.. this lag started about 5 hours ago when most (if not all) users got disconnected. Which might indicate failed network route, with redundant one taking over the load.

Same issue here. I was NOT bugged before the reboot, now I am.
Got in ok, did a few things, got ready to launch from station and now I sit at Entering Space. After 10 min I quit, rebooted, and nothing still.
Grrrr!!

Is it possible to log into Pator, but it just takes a long time, or is Pator borked completely?
Thank you,

Well, they must have found the right cable and plugged it in, because Pator works fine now.

But you must admit that it was very cramp in Pator with over 210 in local.
