Segfault Bullet

I created a character. Clicked on it to log in and play. It says "Entering Space" and there is a bar on the bottom moving left to right.
It says "Tuning in on SUb Space Frequencies".
The bar just keeps moving across the screen over and over. NOthing else happens.
Any ideas?

if you havent really stated playing the char at all yet you can just make a new one, sounds easiest imo, however you can delete your cache.
goto the fodler where you installed eve ../ccp/eve/
in that folder it should be a folder named 'cache', or 'chache' not entirely sure how to spell it ;)
Dont worry, the ocntents of this folder is only temp stuff and is recreated if you delete it. delete that folder and try to log back into your char again.
if this dosent help you shoudl make a stuck petition. try to login, and when you come to the char selection screen, click the esc button. this should bring up the options menu for eve, at the bottom there should be a button somewhere at the bottom left named 'petition' click on it and a new menu will appear, chose the 'stuck' option and fill in details :) and a GameMaster should sort you out fairly quickly

the picture havent been generated yet
it should be within 24hours and should be displayed by then

I think its gonna be a petition as the new char i created did the same thing.
Still getting a stuck bar when "tuning into subspace"
And now im getting a runtime error shortly after have de-installed and re-installed still the same thing ,
Time to bow down to a games master *)

I don't think this is anything to do with your new character. I had exactly the same problem last night, about an hour before your message was posted, and my character is a month old. It occurred whenever I jumped or undocked. You won't know this but normally that transition between space areas, showing those messages, takes about 5 to 10 seconds. I eventually quit and tried again a few hours later. I've never had the problem before.
Sunday night (GMT) is the busiest time on the Tranquility server, and I think it had more players than ever before this Sunday. Maybe it was just struggling to cope (though I asked in my Corp channel, and nobody else was suffering). Maybe only the dial-up users had trouble.

Sometimes that can happen to me, I just hit Escape and it goes thru without exiting the game.

Same thing for me....getting the space frequency bar, then run time error...."program abnormally terminated". My picture never did show bright, looks like she is in room with lights off....
I'm new....got any ideas?
2 days of my free 10 days is already used up. Maybe I need an engineering degree first in REAL. :)

If you fail to enter space (be patient, can take some minutes to enter), even after deleting the cache, try to send a STUCK petition either with a 2nd character or from the EVE start screen.
Check the Support page here on eve-online, too. If you can not get into contact with ISD:STAR from inside of EVE try an email to support. Maybe a friend of yours who is ingame can get into contact with support ingame, too.

Well I pushed esc and it closed the game down completely. What about a GM...how do I find one? |
