The EVETV choice of experts is somewhat quirky but understandable, with one exception.
Stoffer Ninjapirate recently supported one of his friends comments (an insult) on the real life death of a bob members' father.
This is the guy you chose? Was there really no-one better? I'd really like to know EVETV staff response to this.
Anyone who defends such behavior has no place defiling the essence of what both this game and in particular this tournament are about.

What the hell does any of that have to do with the tournament, or someone's ability to be an expert on it? What if it was discovered that at one point in the past one of the experts had ran a stop sign? Should we crap all over them on the forums for that too?
Grow up, and try to enjoy the tournament.

Hell, my tournament expert app was turned down because it was discovered that I had shot a hooker in GTA San Andreas.

The tournament is something designed for the whole community to enjoy.
Please leave your differences, propoganda, and general crap-posting at the door.
If you're going to post something like this, at least have the common decency to grow a backbone and post it with your main.

Actually I'm a coalition alt and alot of goons are my friends.
I do however believe that real life insults such as those witnessed lately and seemingly supported by stoffer is not only disgusting but evidence that the guy isn't fit for the job.
The tournament is about the best of the best fighting it out. This year is already looking to be a weak event, adding morons into the mix won't help any.
And Verone, I love you, really I do. Your memorial service for DE had me biting my fist to keep the tears back (yes, lol real life tears I must be pathetic) but since you're appearance on last years tourney you seem to post looking down at us from your high horse.

You're sadly mistaken if you think it's intended, but If that's your opinion then I can't change it.
I played a very small role in the last tournament compared to the rest of the cast and you might say I've become more wise to the sheer amount of effort it takes to actually organise this thing and pull it off without any massive technical issues.
I guess I've developed a more defensive opinion against people who badmouth Eve-TV because I've seen people writing late into the night to get scripts ready for prerecords such as ship profiles, and people busting their asses to make sure there's no problems from both CCP and MMM. It's obviously going to ruffle feathers if you're badmouthing members of the crew before they've even gotten to Iceland.
If that comes off as arrogance then it's your perception of me defending the people who make Eve-TV.
The issue isn't the fact you're posting here with a complaint (although really you should be directing your complaints to the relevant people at CCP if you feel they're justified), the issue is that you're hiding behind an alt to badmouth a guy who's had the balls to actually apply and go live on air on the tournament.
I mean, if that's not ironic I don't know what is. If you actually want people to take you seriously, then post with your main.
Also, if you want to make a complaint about someone's conduct, then speak to the GM Team, or the Community Manager.
It's not that hard to work out what you should be doing if you have genuine concern. Posting stuff like this just ends up being conterproductive for you cause to be honest.

Oh hey, this is an interesting thread. Ok I'm going to comment briefly on this:
I do not currently, nor do I plan to, make fun of anyone that has died. I do however, viciously, support peoples right to say what they want, online or in real life. You may think a subject is stupid or disgusting, and I may certainly agree on both counts, but I have never, and never will, support censorship.
On the subject of things I like or don't like, one thing I happen to dislike, is using dead people for political gain, like the OP. The fact that you use someones dead father to attack me via EVE-TV is simply insane. But as I said, I wish censorship on no one, I'm just not going to take part in this train wreck of a thread.
I consider this topic over on my part, enjoy the thread from here on.
