Berit	Posted - 2008.02.05 12:17:00 - [1] hi folks, Im in a pretty much T2 raven, not drones and missiles, but in medslots,lowslots. My Q is that it seems that i just cant take down those 1.2m bastards and 238k beserks... im warping and out but nope... i speand 2 hours yesterday and all i got was the frigs and 1 crusier down. i did try em, kin and expl cruise missiles, but all the same the just shieldboost them self up again and again. any tips would come soo in hand. best regards Berra

In the Serpentis version of lvl4 Recon 1/3, I usually don't have a problem with a T2 cruise fitted Raven with 2 BCS IIs. I have, however, got good missile skills (all to 4 or 5). You don't say how your ship is fitted, but if you can't break the rats' tanks you probably need to change your fitting more towards gank (fit some more BCS).

Your best option would be to just complete the mission and get another one. You would probably make more money from the several other missions you could run in that time.

In the angel version of recon 1/3, go with the following mid slots (you will not have to warp out) T2 Large shield booster (or get a faction booster, domination iirc is what i use) T2 Shield boost amplifier (or a faction amp, dread guristas (may have the booster / amp mixed up). T2 explosive hardener T2 kinetic hardener 2x T2 EM hardeners. Yes, EM hardeners. The seraphims in there do an ASSLOAD of em damage. Takes me about 10-15 minutes for the entire mission. Ping Li	Posted - 2008.02.06 07:34:00 - [12] Use explosive/kinetic ammo and remember, like mentioned above, the angels in this mission not only do a lot of kin/expl damage, but also em and a little bit of thermal damage. I usually take a fast ship and run for the gate so you can complete this mission in a few mins.
Khan Salo	Posted - 2008.02.29 22:47:00 - [13] Did the Recon 1 of 3 on my minmatar shuttle. Got to the second acceleration gate while saw the only 1 cruiser and 1 battleship spawn. The cruiser damaged half of my shuttle's shield and the battleship didnt have time to lock me at all. Don't take any T2 ships and expensive equipment with you, because most probably you will become a wreck :). Have fun.

Thats correct, Anyone who does this mission, if they are not worried about killing the npc's for bountys then just fly to the gate in a shuttle the velocity will be your friend, Activate the gate... and your done.. This can also be done for the second stage as well.
