Yesterday
The game got stuck few times, but i still could play. So i continued doing anomalies in F-TE1T system as allways.
This happens a lot, the constellation lags. Every one in there notes it. Some times server crash after minutes, sometimes after hours, sometimes it reach to the downtime.
This time was "not so bad server, i can play" so i kept up my routine.
I entered an Blood Raider Forsaken Hub and when i saw my tank was not enough i initiated the warp out. I was in middle of space, almost aligned to station.
First time was one click on Dock, nothing happened
Second time was one click to warp to, nothing happened.
Third time, double check, clicked overview station, clicked warp to, nothing.
Ship at this time was full aligned and @90% speed.
There i started to spam warp to until ship explode. Ok now i have time to check things.
First was a ping -t, connection was flawless.
I decided to warp to station in a pod. Click warp to, dock, spamed, and for a long time it did nothing. Until it warps out.
Then i reached to station, tryed to dock and could for a minute or so.
The case is, it took me like 42 hours continue grind to get that ship to lose it that way.
Already create a petition. Which are the odds getting the ship back? |

CCP will not reimburse your ship.
I have lost all kinds of ships due to errors in the game and they never help you on it even though clearly there were glitches. |

I had a PvP rokh and a set of crystal implants re-imbursed when I lagged out/client froze and DC'd during a gate fight.
So it does happen, good luck! |

I think it's a case of who you know. Known guys who seem to get ever lose reimbursed.
Was in a fight couldn't activate a single mod. The game stayed up long enough to see my ship expolde than crashed. Three pages of hate threads and 40 minutes later the server came backup. I submitted a petition. Minutes* later the petition was denied with the standard our logs show nothing. I referred the GM to the 3 pages of hate threads on GD, and asked him how why his logs did not show the game was down for like 40 minutes. He told me he was sorry but didn't see how that affected my lose. I was a bit hostile towards CCP for along time after. Of course they have done much to feed those flames. Don't care much anymore, but than again I don't login much anymore either.
*I have never had to wait long for a response to a petition. The GM's are always polite and prompt in denying my petitions.
*edit* Was in a fight couldn't activate a single mod = I was about 50kms away and spamming warp for several minutes, while being shot. Did not appear to be scrammed or disrupted. I did attempt to activate my reppers and guns when I realized I was dying and my ship was not going to warp, no activation there either.

EVE is a game for fun. To me fun means, progress, envolve, get the ship i want and use it. Make a proyect, work for it, complete it. That is an achievement for me, and i dont like to lose all my job because a game glitch.
Dont fly what you cant afford to lose is to no get broken. I pay my account with money so im not affraid of being broke.
I just want to play the game as it mean to be. Fire when i press fire, Boost when i want to Boost, warp when i chose to.
Ship is lost due to technical issue, not human error.
To me sounds better: Dont fly what you think is bored. |
