everytime i reply to or forward an eve-mail through eve-gate i get "message contains illegal HTML" which i'm guessing is the links to the pilot names in the message history. |

I have gotten the same error sometimes.But I also Find that the other mails text gets SUPER-Large.I just cut out all the text excluding my mail and it works fine.

You see the same font tags being added to event text. Add an event in eve and look at it through eve gate. It will have a font tag setting it to size 12 and a nasty light blue colour. The same tags are visible when you pull the events through the API.
The same thing appears to be happening to the email content.
I'm betting there is some code which pulls the content of things like events, emails etc and is wrapping the content in font tags. This is then pulled out by eve gate and the API and causes the html filter in the eve gate email tool to complain :/

Yes extremely bloody annoying - do you dev's know what a pain in the backside it is, to get a page loaded on a cellphone using 3G cell network, especially when most places of work conveniently cut the reception down to a very low level?
Then you try to reply to a mail, wait for minutes for the page to refresh, expecting the mail to have been sent but instead you get the "illegal HTML"
Considering that when you are at home, for anything Eve related, you can simply log into Eve itself, so, the main (but not the only) USEFUL application for Eve Game when it comes to OOG communications is when youre out and about on your cellphone...
So, let me ask the devs - if you are having a quick look at eve on your cellphone while youre at work, on a bio break, are you gonna be pleased when the mail you used most of your allotted break time to send, finally comes back as not sent due to "illegal HTML" ???
Please sort it - its extremely frustrating. Also get rid of the annoying character limit on sending mails from cellphones via eve-gate. Being a ceo, sometimes i need to reply to a urgent mail with more than one frackin sentence!

This is a known issue and we're currently working on getting this fixed. Sadly I cannot give a time frame when, since the fix needs to go through testing etc., but hopefully not too long.
