Edited by: Aepok on 06/02/2008 18:20:26 My friend is in a corp that does not like to draw attention to themselves so I will speak on his behalf. He is Minmatar. Young to the world yet is driven to the cause of freedom. He knows that his skills will not compare to those in the struggle for freedom and is quite frustrated by this. He want's to learn valuable skills to help in this struggle but knows that none will hire him.
To make this somewhat short, are there inexperienced pilots out there with the same feelings or those that are willing to teach. On top of that will he be able to support the fight somehow?
Is there some type of University for pilots who want to join the fight agains slavery and oppression. So far his search has come up dry of good Corps that do this. Please let me know and I will pass on the word.
If not, I would like to ask this question, how many out there would be willing to start one? Minmatar, Caldari, Gallente, maybe even a few Amarr(after a thorough investigation of course).
Thank you for your time.

The Ushra'Khan used to have a training corporation, Kinda'Shujaa. However, due to the instructors being increasingly busy, it has gone into a period of hibernation. If, however, it is opened again, you will see a thread in GalNet and your friend will be able to join.
Otherwise, I wish your friend luck in finding a training corp, and would like to tell him that, once his skills are honed, he would be welcome in the fight for freedom at the side of the U'K, should he want to.

While not a "training corp" as such, Minmatar Ship Construction Services has always embraced eager pilots into our ranks, regardless of experience. Feel free to stop by our virtual tavern (MSCSTavern) and ask to chat with a recruiter.

There's always the option of independant teachers. One can learn approprate skills without being in a specific corp for doing so.

Edited by: Garion Avarr on 06/02/2008 22:42:30 I would need to talk to the individual, but I might consider helping teach him, either individually or as a member of my corporation. We are not a training corporation, but we have had a fair share of new pilots and are always happy to help them learn. I am especially glad to teach young Amarr that wish to learn how to farther the Empire through non-violent means and help bring us towards the modern age, and I would consider extending this offer towards Matari that wish to learn similar ideals, though geared towards helping either the Mandate of the Republic. Promotion of peaceful cooperation in building our economies -- without slavery -- is certainly a worthy goal, and if anyone else would be interested in a project to do so, I would be delighted to speak with them.
Our people have not historically gotten along well together. It is time to change that.
As an aside, Eve University is a wonderful place to learn. However, their lessons are generally more practical, so if one of your primary goals is to learn to better resist oppression and slavery, they might not be as good. But if you wish to learn the practical aspects, they cannot be beat. ________________________________ This is not a signature. |

Once again we see the folly of the Minmatar "system". Where the Amarrians provide all for their poor charges the Minmatar when left alone is reduced to wandering lost among the stars looking for a reason to live. On the way he finds "friends" of dubious reputation (normally Gallente) and in a short time is truly lost.
I recommend your friend turn himself into an Amarrian organization that is truly fit to care for him like the SPCS.
