Long tunnel. In the tunnel a fan is turning at such speed it's barely visible to a human eye (as in slightly blurred vision being acceptable, nothing more).
Now this will make a sound, so you would also need some speakers which identifies the noise the fan makes and then plays it back at reversed amplitude. If you know your physics right, this will in effect create pure silence, making the fan inaudible. They apply this technique on real world cruise ships to diguise the noise from the air condition.
Now there's slaughter for you :)

The third is very different from the other two! I SWEAR!

The fan might not make any noise, but for it to be spinning that fast, it would be making quite a bit of air movement, right? Wouldn't the victim notice this and avoid the barely-visible fan?

Well if you placed a visible fan further back you'd solve this easily. People would ignore the deathfan and rather think the air is being pushed from the other fan and then proceed to get cut into tiny pieces
oh, I HAVE seen the first Cube movie, which is sortof what I was looking for but in a slightly different manner.

Room with opening in the ceiling, with what looks like a ladder for escape. Once gripped a device on the ladder locks around the victims hands, leaving them hanging there. And that is where the room slowly starts to fill with acid...

You could avoid the air movement thing by just have non-angled blades, so then there's no air movement. Or just thin strips of wire - like in a strimmer. Or blade that are angled upwards - harder to feel and would cut into the skull better than ones angled to push the air downwards.
What is this thread about? To find out which of us should be put down for being too disturbed??

Not necessarily the 'slaughter' you were looking for, but the sadistic part I've got in spades.
You are obviously a deeply disturbed person and should seek professional help immediately.

Two words, sensory deprivation. Imagine a room full of morgue-like, opaque cabinets, complete with life support equipment coupled with paralysing drugs which leave you fully conscious. Add remote controls to turn the automated bodily waste disposal and drug administration on/off at will. Further add an infrared camera. Now you can just let them rot and suffer for decades, or if you want some more "fun" (you sick bastard ) you can turn off the waste disposal to let them die of infections over a period of weeks/months or even combine this with drugs=off, to see them struggle pathetically in their own faeces via camera. Enjoy! |

I've almost been decapitated once, and that was quite the experience I can tell you.
I'd imagine a room where, when you would walk in it, one of your legs suddenly gets stuck and you try and fall to the ground but your leg is still stuck so you will most likely overstretch your knee in the direction it isn't meant to bend. During this falling motion everything will turn dark. At the moment you will feel your knee snapping/muscles being overstreched you are released and enter a freefall, hitting objects on your way down. At every object wich a limb or your head will hit, the preasure will build up to a critical point where you have the feeling you will break something / rip your muscles and then the preasure disapears again. You will get badly bruised on your way down but you wont break anything ( maybe a broken rib for good measure ) and then when your body is beaten to a pulp you will fall into freezing cold water. The victim will most likely drown, being unconsious from the trauma, or fully aware but too hurt to move his body anymore.
Room would be 100m high, 6x6m wide and have various objects mounted on the wall that can "grab" the victim to give it the sensation of having bones broken / limbs torn and muscles ripped.
During the fall, the victim should be able to pass 20 of these devices. These will obviously have state of the art preasure sensors and ladars, to grab on to the victim in the right way, and apply the right amount of presure.
And a movie classic is the wire trap, wich is also used in Cube, 30 cables of only a few mm thick will come from all directions and lock you into place. Each cable will make a 90 degree turn around your body and every minute the wires are tightened, cutting you bit by bit. Room would only need to be 2x2m but more is better.

a small cubicle room. upon entrance, the door slams closed on the victum. Moments later the room begins to fill up with a red liquid. Once the liquid is about neck level a small panel opens on one of the walls, revealing a small flashing button. Upon Pressing this button the liquid stops flowing and begins to drain. The victum sighs in relief thinking he has avoided an untimely death.
It hears a gringing noise above it. It looks up and sees spikes emerge from the cealing as it slowly starts to descend. The victum begins to franticly searching the walls to find another button. As the cealing gets closer and closer it begins to scream hysterically. The victum admits defeat and falls to its knees sobbing. Closing its eyes to await its death it feels somthin soft touch its head. the spikes and cealing are foam and it easilly breaks through. It begins to think this is all just some type of sick game and it is in no real danger. Almost as soon as it thinks this, another liquid is sprayed into the room from above. It can't help but let out a scream and accidentally inhales some.
Another panel open revealing a television monitor with a glass of blue liquid next to it. A cloaked figure with a skull mask covering the upper portion of his face gives it a friendy greeting and proceeds to inform it that the mist was a deadly poison and in the glass is the antidote. The door opens. The victum quickly drinks from the glass. As soon as he turns towards the door, it slams shut and the monitor flickers back to life. The mystery figure informs him the mist was harmless water and the glass contained a psychotrophic poison which will lead to a slow death. Four projectors on the cealing then beging projecting images of horrific creatures on the wall.

As cubes/square rooms are over done, A Sphere, not 2 big as that would be a waste of killing space... Inside is like the small holes on a cheese grater Insert person Rotate sphere on all axis at a speed that achieves a suitable kill-time ratio additionally blood draining from sphere can drown the victims loved ones who happen to be tied in a pit underneath.. convenient eh?

Inject metal particles (small enough to fit through most capiliaries but big enough not to fit though the blood vessel walls) into persons blood, turn up electricity to magnets (slowly) and watch the show.
I'll come up with more in a bit

Hmmm.
The entire floor of the room is a treadmill with a abrasive surface (sandpaper-ish). The person must keep running or their skin gets peeled off.
Or.
Two people in the room, tell them you put a key to get out inside the heart of both of them. No tools or weapons provided. They could be lovers, friends, classmates/coworkers enemies, strangers, would be fun to watch.
Kinda a "Battle Royale" scenario could be done; put an entire class of children in there (mid-teens probably best), say one of them has the key in them, sit back and enjoy. Would have to make sure they all have identical scars to keep them from telling who had the key without splitting them open.

Small room, walls themselves fluorescent, you know the type, white all over. Inside, a small bed, a computer with all movies and games you can think of, a fully stocked fridge, drinks (refill everything when person is asleep, use sleeping gas to make 100% sure) a small bathroom too, etc. No discernable way out though. For a long time, anybody inside gets just about anything he could want, EXCEPT "freedom". Then, once a certain resignation or even comfort level settles in, next time he gets up, everything goes dark (or, well, move him to a second room with nothing in it), leave until almost completely despaired. When asleep (exhaustion, desperation, etc) move him back to the first room. Leave him there until he falls asleep again, then move him back to the "all black" room. Then just let him die

well theres several different aproaches you could take to this. a few people are posting more mental manipulation ideas, which is cool and all, but you asked to slaughter, so im gonna toss out a few ideas
1. you walk into the room and then the door locks behind you. the opposite wall at the end of the corridor opens up revealing a wall of spikes that are all in nice columns about 1 foot apart. then it slowly starts to move towards you so theres nothing to do, but turn sideways and try and fit between the columns, which alas, you planned for, so now the wall stops a foot and a half or so, giving him enoough room to not be crushed. then ANOTHER wall behind the first moving wall starts coming with spikes on it as well in same fashion, except are perfectly displaced so the columns would come in between the other line of spikes u managed to hide between, so now you are stuck in place with this second wall of spikes slowly coming in and getting you while you are imobilzed and ever so slowly pushing the spikes further and further into you.
2. if you want something a bit faster then you could try something like having a row of sharp dart launchers on the ground (bout ankle height), and this entire row would shoot out at random times so you couldnt time it. anyways you would get shot in the shins, most likely making u fall to the ground in pain. then another volley would shoot and get you again, and again, until you were on the ground and these spikes were shooting you in the head and stuff like that. (alternatively you could use saw blades too casue that would make for an interesting killing machine)
3. another idea is maybe having the room actually in fact a oven, or a freezer. so they walk into it and then they get locked in and either slowly cooked alive, or they could slowly be frozen (and if the person whos killing these poeple was twisted enough he could keep these frozen corpses somewere in his mansion or watever)
4. you could also have the room slwoly fill up with water so the person has so long to live before theres no air left in the room to breath
5. you could grow a pack of rabid wolves or dogs and have them in a pit underneath the room. and then the floor drops down into a slope making a chute for you to fall in this rabid pit and then you could hear ur victims hpitiful pleas much to ur satisfaction
6. you could fill the room with happy gas so they are completely out of it and loopy, and then send in someone really cool looking with a light saber sort of thing, or a katana, or a battle ax (depending on ur settings) and have him wlak up and simply chop off thier limbs, and finally thier heads while they are in a delusional state
7. back to idea 4 with the water filling up the room, EXCEPT this isnt water this time, its vinegar. and its not an enclosed room, its got an opening waaaaay at the top. by the time you get to the top if u manage to stay afloat that long and not drown, then you come upon a ladder. but after being in the vinegar for so long your body would get bloated and non resiliant to anything, so when you start to pull yourself out your own weight would rip you away from your arms/hands and then you would be stuck floundering in the vinegar with no upper limbs and bleed to death
thats all i can think of off the top of my head, but i might come up with more
