Probably just a glitch on the forums. And Tranquility is supposed to be down because it's currently the daily downtime.

I got the same thing!!
google worked no eve.
and yes eve is down due to downtime :P

i had a similar problem yesterday, eve disconnected but all my buddies on vent could still play, the site was also down for me and it was available to them, every other site on the Internet was working except eve :(

perhaps you should actually check out what happened before posting
this happened last night, not this morning (well, for eastern standard time anyway)
was trying to change skills on a couple characters sometime before midnight and both eve and the forums were down - gave up after about an hour

That happens now and then, some ISP get issues with certain ip's. I have had it once or twice in two and a half year, some corpmates in England have had it alot more.

yes, true
it was more a comment about the statement that it was the usual downtime when it wasn't
most people are actually aware of the daily downtime and don't comment on it until we have several delays like today
irritating when you need to get a skill going because unexpected downtime

I think the OP's post was during downtime wasnt it ?

I set a 3h skill instead of a 1h skill...
"we will patch today, we wont patch today" = "we will try to sneak in a server side patch today that's what was planned, but with half the stuff removed"
Gotta learn to read those news items carefully and figgure out what they mean ;)
