So basically it's useless now to have a carrier transport a ship for you now as it should void your insurance? that's great now that carriers finally can move BS. *sigh*

This thread is about the insurance contract and if a traded ship voids the insurance contract. Which I personally believe I have effectively argued that it does not void the contract.
I did read some of it and as the OP lost he's insurance and direct trading doesn't do that as most of us know and this thread confirms id like to know if it was confirmed that the carrier / MS ship bay was the issue here, and as i said a wee bit lazy so not going to read 10 pages just to try and find that one post that might confirm it.

Yeah this is the problem. We pay for a virtual service and we sign up to an EULA which allows them to do as they wish.
Compare to buying a TV. TV vendor says "HDMI equipped TV" on the box, buyer takes it home and finds out it only has a HDMI socket but it's not wired up on the inside. This is false advertising and Trading Standards would whip their arse for it. Customer would get a full refund as product sold "not as advertised".

Then CCP better not change the wording or insurance code, as they advertise EvE as a 'dog eats dog' game.

Probably not at the point yet
But if Eve ends up going down the Second Life road with players paying real money for in game content, CCP better watch out. Ambulation may be the first step on that slippery slope.

Boneheads? Frankly I don't understand you incentive to even say that..the wording of the insurance text has been acknowledged as possibly being a bit skewy, and thus passed on for review, what do more do you want? A complete admittance of failure by them (CCP) and recognition of you as a superior human being of a magnitude they (CCP) could never possibly hope to achieve or understand? Get over yourself.
The policy is clear - As per Prism's repeated posts. The game mechanics were misrepresented by Prism, something he acknowledged. The game mechanic was afterwards tested, and proven irrefutably that you can trade insured ships back and forth and move them in ship maintenance bays all you want and still retain the insurance, as long as nobody else gets into the ship, or the ship isn't repackaged.
This means somebody is lying, and since the OP is the only one who stands to lose anything whatsoever, I'm fairly sure about who the liar is, while still keeping a door open for the possibility for some unforseen and very unlikely anomoly.
Let isk farmers run the place? What, are you senile? I suppose thats why they highly encourage us to petition them until they have better systems in place for dealing with them, and constantly talk about how much of an annoyance they are, and why they made it so trial chars cant transfer money and so forth? Again, get off your pedestal of pretendant self-rightouness 'cause you're not impressing anyone with that drivel.
They cheat? Since you want to be such a nitpick about text formatting and meaning, I got one for you: "They", as you say, implies a multitude of people, "cheat", as you say, as opposed to "cheated" implies "they" are still doing it, please provide proof of your highly severe accusation here, or has your brain failed to account for the factor that you actually need to back up your claims before anyone will give you any sort of credit apart then for being a complete moron?
You're right about the judge part, but not just because of what you're insinuating wouldn't be of any use in the legal system, but also because you have no backing to what you're spouting so carelessly in the first place.
