While I am awaiting a petition response, since I see several threads on it here, figured I'd start my own thread.
First off, system is not the Issue, as eve Ran before. And I've gone so far as to reinstall my XP pro os. If it was a problem, that should of fixed it. (complete whipe) however if asked will give up system specs.
Problem=Everytime I start eve. I get the splash (EVE TRINITY w/ ferox pic) Then poof, gone. eve acts as if its minimized, running according to tsk mnger, just not showing, I "maxamize" the window from my start bar, it goes up into the left corner and dissapears. again just sits there nothing, with the window selected.
Fixes I've tried:
Alt+ENTEr (when do you hit this in this situation) to resize screen) no luck.
SAFE MODE the safe mode launch file.. No luck..
Safe mode in OS... no luck..
I'm rather irked, any suggestions?

Hi. Please run logserver and send us a bug report. It might give us an idea where the problem is.

Got the same issue.
I got it working : simply add another shortcut to the eve.exe file and add /safemode.
Then when you start the game with the safemode shortcut, you will have the same issue. Kill the minimized eve, and then start again with the "standard" shortcut : it works !
And it works with the reverse procedure : start with classic shortcut, get the but/nothing, kill it, start the safemode shortbut and play in eve classic (it works this way too).
No idea what is happening but since there is no solution for me on this forum...
