Hi there, this is my first thread in this forums and i just started playing eve a week ago :)

yeah proportions are a bit off, but the structure is very nice. great work, but there is room for improvement ;)

Man, this is slick.
Proportions are a little off, but the model is very nice (:
I am curious as to what materials you have used. I'm working on a Merlin model but I use clay and its working out nicely...so far

I used old parts of other models (battletech), pvc plates, "green stuff" (citadel/gw) and lot of patience :D
and yup, i love the game :)
maybe i make another model .......

oh, wow i thought you ninja'd pics of the new minatures ccp is going to start selling..
that is pretty awesome work man, it's a lil off, should be a little "rounder" but still, 1,000,000 better than anything i could put together, obviously.

What is the scale for the model?
We, Planned Movement Production is working on an idÚe to create a space game under the name of Starfighter that is built on the Eve ideas (small fighter ship with modules and skills).
We only need models and maybe your model could fit
Want to say that it is still on the idÚe phase and we will se where we lands and if it is to similar to Eve we will contact CCP for copyright issues

Much better than what I could do.
I'd love a Merlin and Scorp.
Mega's would be good too, but only if they fall apart (for the sake of realism).

Very sharp. Looks like some GW parts in there, at least the flying base. I've done some mini conversion, but never got the hang of using green stuff right. Looks like you have it nailed.
Can't wait to see what you've got in the works next.

I'm into GW as well and I have to applaud your excellent work on the Tristan! The Tristan has a very special place in my tender little heart as my sole reason for playing EVE in the first place was my obessive wish to pilot one of them.

Want to make this official contest and I will join in.
My r/l job is a model maker so it would be right up my alley and winning a prize for time spent would be real nice just cause it would take away from my eve playing time.

To help aspiring model-makers, would it be possible to post orthographic views of the in-game meshes somewhere? Something a little more detailed than the ship blue (orange?) prints from before release. I can also see such things being used in sigs and the like.
