Hello,
Ive been playing and all of a sudden the game crashes saying that it lost connection. Now when I load up the client, it wont let me type in the password at all.
Is this an issue with the client or is it a connection type of thing, where you can only type in a password when the client recognizing a connection to the servers?

Some ISP experiencing a lot of packetloss on their routers at the moment, the problem is, that the eve client sometimes looses to many ip packets and so we get the con losts and the problems with the password field. Only known solution at the moment is, closing the client and restarting it, hoping that the con is stable again and the login server can be reached.

This only happens when the client isnt getting a proper connection to the server. The reason is that it is trying to connect in the background and while its connecting it doesnt allow text input. Probably to prevent some issues form happening.
It happens this same way, every time, without fail as soon as the client is connecting.
If you lose connection and it picks it right back up again this doesnt happen. Often times these issues with it not being able to connect/not letting you type the password are on the server end, or somewhere between your computer and the server, probably in between.
Usually you just have to wait a few minutes and all is fine.

Now the problem with the keyboard typing is permanent, even when I restart the client.
Using copy-paste I managed to login, but not able to close any window in the game - there is no minimize, and close buttons in the window's upper-right corner.
Any idea?

Delete all logs under My Documents/eve that workede for me last time
