Bob have competed in every other tourny as BOB with DICE competing again under FIVE
The Five was neither a DICE alt corp nor a bob pet. The Five was the only alliance that could have gone head to head with BoB until ATUK shut it's doors. I am sure there are a few people within Goonfleet that would be able to say the same...eh Suas. I realy wish those days were back.
If anything DICE is What's left of ATUK when they shut their doors. Was a shame, I was so looking forward to the day The Five went head to head with BoB. THAT would have been an epic fight. -------- Semper Fi, Jonis Sinmaker

Hes right. Script was planning on taking on BOB from the start. From the beginning of the Five, Script was always saying that the plan in the end was supposed to be .5. vs BOB. Interestingly enough, towards the end of the PA/FE/NBSI campaign Goonfleet had an amazing rep with ATUK and alot of the members were pretty interested in seeing how it would turn out. Suas initially planned to use Goonfleet to support the .5. for that eventuality hence the "training" in syndicate of joint .5.(BOS/SUPRM)/goonfleet/OSS gangs . Ofc that all fell apart when Script retired.
Just a small hint of what could have been. You know if things had turned out just slightly differently it might have been Orange Species doomsdaying BOB fleets instead of Goons.
.5. still brought the most carnage in an empire war that EVE has seen to date. I think we broke 150+ BS kills in war targets for the first 3 days. Pretty dammn fun.

It was a shame that Script quit...outstanding leader. The northern campaign was by far the most fun I had in EVE. As much as I rag on Suas and goons those guys really put forth some fun times during the war against PA/F-E/IRON/NBSI. I was glad to have VLINC a part of that war fighting along side The Five. It's a shame that DICE couldn't just assume control of The Five and keep on going with the momentum that they had. They were on the verge of taking the entire northern area of eve. Kinda of a buzz kill when Atuk shut down...was a blast flying those guys...props still go out to BOS, SUPRM, ATUK, Delta, M.Corp and the old goonfleet for the good times. -------- Semper Fi, Jonis Sinmaker

Elemental Fury's core group is a bunch of ex-Maelstrom pilots that have had the good fortune to recruit the best and brightest of those weve come across, mostly around syndicate last summer, deklein, pure blind and geminate, as part of the thorn in Smashkills paw. the alliance was closed about a week ago, the mail from the alliance fee is the prime suspect and the issue has been raised with ccp.

The Five have been around as long as BoB have (or even before. . .my memory!!) I think you better read a little more history or ask unbiased elders.

We don't take much of an interest in 0.0 or politics, so I'm not surprised nobody really knows much about us. I'll kick one of the executor-folk and get them to write something a little more interesting.
In as few words as possible:
We PvP, We don't 'do' 0.0 We don't 'do' politics We do 'do' small-gang warfare. Our executor is a stoner. Some of us are pirates. Some of us aren't. We like to blow stuff up and have a good time doing it. We go where the fun targets are. -----

I always assumed it was "Dice", sounds like the plural of Die, i.e. the thing you play craps (or monopoly or whatever) with. I guess cause it's short for destructive influence, and the "ce" at the end of influence is a soft "CE". --

The Crimson Federation is an Empire Based pvp alliance. Currently we're at war with IAC and we're enjoying it very much. We'll get to fight IAC in the tourney in the first batch so that should be interesting.

Originally by: EVETV spiralJunkie Ok, maybe not those three, but there are forty teams in the 5th Alliance Tournament, listed here.
Some everyone knows, some maybe aren't as high-profile, and there may be one or two who people haven't heard of. To remedy this, EVE TV is inviting people who are taking part to let us know about themselves, in an effort to educate the whole galaxy about your alliance.
The best thing would be to email me at [email protected], or if you'd rather, post in this thread. The more people take ten minutes to do this, the less teams we'll know nothing about, and the more chance there is of Stavros knowing something pertinent.
Thanks guys, the ball is in your court.

Well don't you sound bitter....were you one of the victoms? The 5 pushed out PA and NBSI (Two major land holders in the North) forced F-E to surrender and and from that point on became .5. pet. Dek had fallen apart after Iron pulled out (because they were tired of POS's and holding space) after they realized that the ally they were helping (F-E)just gave up and G alliance disbanded leaving the .5. the superpower in the North. So yeah I believe my statement to be correct and if you look far enough on the evemaps they will agree with me as well....now go pod yourself for not putting your corp info on your name and for being a loser at knowing your history. -------- Semper Fi, Jonis Sinmaker

Caldari Caldari Independent Navy Reserve The Fourth District
|
Posted - 2008.02.14 22:02:00 -
[85]
The Fourth District (4TH) is a Caldari RP alliance consisting of:
Caldari Independent Navy Reserve (CAIN) Cold Wing (CROW) Copperhead Arsenal (CRHDA)
We are currently based in Pure Blind and conduct a wide range of PvP operations as part of that. Though the alliance has only been around for about two and a half months now, CAIN was in the last alliance tournament under the ATTC banner, and came in third in its bracket (behind RAWR and IAC). Fourth District pilots assisted the CVA with the defense of their outpost in December against Triumvirate.
CAIN forms the core of 4TH combat assets and has nearly three years of history fighting for the State; over the last 18 months, since the Mito Conflict where CAIN and other allies fought Star Fraction, the Black Rabbits, and others for two months, CAIN has fought Phoenix Wing and its Acheron Federation alliance, Electus Matari, Star Fraction (again), and variety of hostile forces in the Pure Blind region. We also worked with the Caldari Navy to bring an end to the Brothers of Freedom uprising over the summer. More detailed information on the last 18 months of our operations can be found at our website, http://cain.excidium.net.
CROW is a smaller force of skilled skirmisher pilots led by April Knox, and was formerly a part of the Mordu's Angels alliance. CROW has extensive combat experience in Pure Blind and throughout the north, having cooperated with Morsus Mihi and Razor during their campaign to retake the northern regions from the Mercenary Coalition and its vassals.
CRHDA is a newcomer to the Fourth District, having just joined a few weeks ago. Most of their pilots are younger than those in CAIN and CROW, but over the last six months they have cooperated with CAIN in an informal capacity, assisting with logistical operations during CAIN's campaigns, and a number of CRHDA members helped CAIN and the Caldari Navy during the Brothers of Freedom uprising.
Hopefully that gives you some idea of what to expect from us. If you need any more information, Spiral, just let me know. -- CAPT Svetlana Scarlet CAIN Chief of Diplomatic Staff
