Hi,
Eve on my second computer cant seem to remember what happened last time it ran. I have to agree to the EULA every time I start, graphics resolution etc doesnt stick, and I have to redo my shortcuts every time as well.
Ive tried reinstalling.

What happens if you make your settings and exit the game after that? Is it also forgetting the settings? Do you leave EvE correctly or do you close it like Alt + F4 as EvE only saves settings if it¦s correctly closed (so having a DC will also result in a loss of settings done before)
If everything is ok till now, take a look at the folder Documents & Settings on your local harddrive, there enter your user profile folder, now make sure that you can see hidden folders, enter the folder local settings, now enter the user data folder, and now next is ccp folder, then eve, then settings. Here you¦ll find the prefs.ini file. make sure that it¦s not read only flagged.

I do disconnect properly, it still forgets unfortunately. I checked the file, it was not set read only. I'm going to try deleting this folder, if it doesn't work I might just wipe the computer and start over. Nothing on this machine anyways.
I deleted the folder and tried again (accepted EULA, skipped intro, changed settings etc). Quit the game with ctrl-q. Doubled clicked shortcut and started back at square one. I had to accept the eula AGAIN etc.
