Hi all, I have just joined, and really like to role-play. So does anyone know of chat channels set up for this? Or good places to get involved in role-plays and story lines in game besides the role-play forum alone? Thanks.

The "Amarr" and "Minmatar" faction channels tend to be fairly roleplayer thick, most days.

I recently joined Strix Armament and Defense and they are excellent folk. It may or may not be for you. We are staunchly pro-federation and anti-pirate.
MISSION
Strix Armaments and Defence exists to protect Gallente Federation interests throughout New Eden. Strix activities include:
* Anti-piracy patrols.

VALUES
Loyalty
The heart of Strix Armaments and Defence is loyalty. Founded by a consortium of former Navy, Intelligence, and Customs personnel, private Sinq Laison weapons manufacturers, and independent capsuleers, Strix itself is an expression of loyalty to Gallente Federation. Almost as important, however, is the loyalty Strix expects from its members towards one another. While some may eventually seek new employment, and others may be deemed a poor fit for the organisation, all are expected to be loyal to the FederationÆs lawful government, Strix Armaments and Defence, and fellow members so long as they are listed on the corporationÆs roster.
Respect
One of the core principles of the Gallente Federation is respect. Strix Armaments and defense embraces respect in its expectation that members behave without rancor towards enemies, as well as avoid offensive speech in corporate and public channels. Likewise, fundamental to effective democracy is respect for diversity; prejudices based on ethnicity, gender, or class will not be tolerated.
Selflessness
In a society that emphasizes individual advancement through personal achievement, it is hardly surprising that many in the Federation forget that freedom is anything but free. Strix Armaments and defense is NOT an engine for generating capital. While members are encouraged to seek self-sufficiency, the corporationÆs assets and collective activities are intended solely for enhancing StrixÆs ability to meet its corporate mission. Members should not expect remuneration or reward for their efforts on behalf of democracy, Strix Armaments and defense, or the Gallente Federation.
VISION
Strix Armaments and Defence operations serve the following purposes:
1. Establishment of a vibrant pro-Federation capsuleer community ((RP)).
2. Neutralization of all militant groups committed to overthrowing the lawful Federation government and/or partitioning any Federation territory.
3. Expansion of Federation influence into null-sec space.
4. Destruction of organized piracy within the Federation and neighboring regions.
5. Elimination of slavery in New Eden.
6. Open markets and free trade throughout known space.

I tried joining that RP forum you pointed me to. But I guess their email confirmation is down because I have not heard anything from the site about my registration. Thanks for listing it though.
