Plug in card Install latest drivers download and install nhancer on control panel set the AA you want (8x combined works well) and untick the "enhance in-game AA" box.
I'm not sure about HDR and stuff, myself I'm using an old 7800 which does not support HDR+AA. So I just run with HDR disabled in-game and on nhancer to get proper AA.
Note that if you can't get AA to work with HDR and decide to disable it: disabling HDR on nhancer will cause HDR dependent games to crash (UT3, GoW, etc)

Assuming you have a fairly new version of the driver with the never NVidia Control pannel, you can override settings doing the following.
If your NV icon is in the tray Right click and select NVIDIA Control Panel. If not is in your screen proporties, Settings, Advanced, GeForce 8800.
In the control panel select "Manage 3D Settings" and on the right, you can edit global or Individual Program settings.
The bits your interested in is "Antialiasing - Mode" set this to "Override any Application setting"
"Antialiasing - Setting" set this to 2x/4x/whatever
Hope thats what you were after

Although this is more of a Technical question, I'll try to do my best.
I only use a 7800GS, but on my system, you only have to right click on the desktop, select NVIDIA *something* (I use localized version), "Manage 3D Settings", and there you can adjust the forced AA, AF and whatever you may need.

Double click nvidia icon in taskbar (lower right side), click "manage 3d settings": Under the tab "global settings": Right click "Anisotropic filtering" in "feature" and it allows you to change "setting" with a drop down menu on the right. You can force the card to be always AF or AA complient. If you want it specifically for Eve and nothing else: As above except: under tab "programe settings" and choose the Eve.exe (if it isnt that then its evefile.exe) from "1. Select a program to over-ride", click "add" and under "2. Specify the settings" change the settings to your desire. It may ask you to reboot (it didnt for me) but it should then be set automatically for whenever you open Eve. I have program settings made for COD4, Eve, Hitman, CS:S etc. I find it helps with the different age of these games, the look and textures etc. Enjoy your GFX
