hi, ive just gained the required skills to run with Medium Hybrid Rails and Blaster II's, now the blasters i understand, i can use em on my Astarte and eos with decent effect, but the rails im stuck with, i am primarily Caldari, are their any ships other than the eagle i can use the rails? i mean, i dont fancy having the role of " frig, shuttle and pod popper"
any help?

I know this is a battleship and your on medium t2 and not large.. but you are headed in the right direction....since u wanna go rail route and caldari route.. i would gradate to this as an option.
I have large t2 blaster and t2 rail... and i like them both for different reasons... blaster great high dmg up close and personal... and rail makes for a nice long range decent dmg attack. I also fly EOS and starte and tried rail and blaster on both.. rails on lil ships are just to weak dmg is slow.... blaster is way to go if you willing to get within 20km (preferably less) or so of your targets.
I never tried a t2 large rail rokh but the optimal range bonus is what makes it shine for sniping. I have tried large t2 rail mega, navy mega and kronos.. and large t2 rails can be effective if you boost your optimal range to give you some space between you and your target.

Wait for the tasty and long overdue Caldari railboat buffs that are on the horizon! The Eagle will actually punch with the rest of the HAC's when the patch hits. Even the Ferox looks remotely respectable!

Unimaginably so. I cannot wait. As said, even the Ferox looks respectable with +1 turret, and **gasp** even the Moa sounds like a useable gang warfare ship. Or (drumrolls) low-sec belt-ganker.
Caldari ships (bar raven and crow) that can actually solo. I'm impressed.
Sorry for the derail...
To the op: you can use the rails on a Moa or better, Ferox, with the intention of loading faction antimatter for med range gang-support dps. As you have already understood, use them on the eagle and shoot people you haven't even MET yet. And, as you have already understood, you can load blasters on various caldari ships in order to get decent webrange damage dealers. Not half bad, is it?
