Halfway through 2007 there suddenly was a lot of talk about development of players being able to walk as their avatars around stations and come out of ships. I personally think this would be a fantastic addition if done correctly.
There was evidence of some work done by CCP when they released a video of their developments - and they mentioned it would be released in the next expansion. Here we are in Trinity and there's no sign of it yet! I think it would add a lot of extra appeal to the game, and definitely add an opportunity to show off a true sense of EVE scale (for example size of avatars vs size of their ships! Yeah. Multiple threads about it so I'll just chime in on my wants and needs. Hot dancers and gambling. If those aren't going to be included then Ambulation in a 100% waste of the Eve populations time.
