I recommend a lot of cold compresses, they seem to stop the twitching a lot. What you can do as well, is drink a lot of tea. It seems to help.
I recommend, seeing a shrink ASAP before you go cold turkey and start trying to mine the local geological locations around you housing estate

I'm surpised it stopped raining long enough in Manchester for a fire to catch hold.
Freeserve also reports problems in Northern Ireland/Glasgow/Manchester so no doubt there's a central exchange down too.

Actually, a large portion of the Manchester internet backbone (including NTL/Telewest access paths) was affected although it's now mostly been routed arround. Still been kicked off the net a few times today (I'm in Salford, and my net went down for a few hours that night, or so my logs say).
And yea, it was a deep-underground cable run.

My internet was buggered at work, no email, no web, thousands of pounds lost û but our prayers were answered - my home net was on, gimme da veld!!
Hey McWatt I grew up in Rusholmeà hereÆs a tale
As a child I used to work the Man City car parks and surrounding Moss Side area(in a time when child labour was most popular) we would look after Man City fans cars for 50p a time. And then one day a Rolls Royce pulled upà
ôHey mister can we mind yer car for 50p?ö ôNo I donÆt need my car looking afterö ô50p its nothing for a rich guy like youö we replied At this point the man became vexed and responded in a undeserved manner ôNo I said I have a dog in the car that will look after it, now clear offö
ôYea, but can yer dog put out fires?ö
Oh how we laughed that day.

I live in Southampton, but couldn't play on Monday because I've got a Manc ISP
Curiously, the tunnel that caught fire was hooked up to a 1950's era nuclear-proof underground telephone exchange.

Uh-oh. I was giggling there, but now I see "Freeserve" and "Northern Ireland" in the same sentence as "problems" without a negative in-between. I live in Northern Ireland and have a Freeserve Anytime dialup account which uses BT lines It was fine this morning when I left the house (I'm posting this from school), so hopefully everything will be fine and I'll be on Eve this evening.
