EVE Geopolitics article is now online as a brief introduction/guide.
It is part of the MDW (Morkt's Defence Weekly) section of EVE Guardian.
The article is aimed at the new pilot.

OOC
A nice article and a good overview for new pilots in the EVE Universe Morkt altho it would have been nice if some reference (even small) had been given to other conflicts in the game i.e. Amarrian loyalists vs Minmatar Freedom Fighters.
Between them the CVA and the 'Friends of Matar' coalitions and various other affiliated corps now account for reasonable number of pilots (+300) involved in their own Empire based wars.
OFC it is still on a small scale as compared to the regional alliances but daily attracting more combatants on either side and even attracting the attention of non-Amarr/Minmatar corps such as Northern Intelligence and Blacksheep Squadron. Some are even paying mercs to do their dirty work for them
Although only a subplot to overall galactic story and maybe excuse for some to PvP in Empire I still think a mention would be nice... not for PIE or other individual corps but as general comment about race war...
After all when a new pilot gets ganked by PFOM in a 0.4 system just because he is Amarrian he is gonna wonder why no one told him about this
It may also give some more of a perspective on roleplay in EVE if they realise that some take it seriously and that there is action and fun to be had in it!

And shouldn't it be astropolitical or cosmopolitical, rather than geopolitical?

Where is the Arcadia region? I was under the presumption that Arcadia were in lower Syndicate, and didn't claim it (as such). Has this changed? ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

Oh yes, forgot to mention that. Keep up the good work, Morkt. We ICs read the Guardian with great interest. ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

You missed out C4....
To be honest, the main controlling force of Paragon Soul and Esoteria is now C4 Alliance, however SA are putting up some resistance to this.

I did miss out c4 but on purpose.
They never suppplied us with any information. Kind of hard to put info~ up on people when they don't supply any.
Same applies to most of the alliances with minimal or "missing" entries.

Ok, well... C4 Controls Paragon Soul and Esoteria atm, not SA.
SA have no control over the area.
