beginning a few days ago, dotlan ceased to work for me. i'm asking myself, if the problem lies on my side.
the issue:
when i open a region-map on the dotlan site (e.g. http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Fade
then everything is there except for all the systems and connections

the only thing, which i did differently before that day, was that i started a very small webserver and stopped it again (HFS-Webserver)
any ideas anybody ? |

displays fine for me
try refreshing the page, or dumping your cache/cookies. something may be causing dotlan's script to not run or load properly. |

thx, but i found the reason:
i blocked some IPs in the hosts file and because dotlan has added some "social network" stuff on 13th february i had to allow the domain
addthis.com
and now it works again
i am NOT amused, though . . . |

I get the error in Chrome but it's fine in a fresh install of Firefox.
Probably some cache tomfoolery?! |

I had the same problem, and managed to track it down to a custom HOSTS file from:
http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

It (addthis) got kicked out. It should be running fine again for you.
I just replaced it with a simple dropdown button that basically does the some without this external plugin bullshit. I didn't realized this could be such a problem ... well ... lesson learned ... write my own code instead of using 3rd party stuff because it's easier :-)
