Does anyone know the reason why the damage bonuses dont apply for cruise missiles yet the r.o.f. bounus works on the launchers, and would it be the same deal for the launcher rigs ( increased damage )
As it is my Raven is feelin a bit under powered

lol.. what do you mean it doesnt work ? ofc it does work.
if you are clicking on the launcher you cant see the damage as the missiles get the damage bonus.. not the launcher. you would have to show info on the missiles to see the difference ---------------------------------- This is Me |

They apply. Even if it doesn't show in the info for the missiles.

Yeah it's a display bug. The only way to see the max damage of a missile is by shooting the structure on something. Popping your own jetcan should work fine.

or...
right click ship in space, show info.. go to the mods section... find missiles... show info and now it should show you the changed atributes taht you get from your ship and skills
well.. atleast it worked like that a while ago :D ---------------------------------- This is Me |

Yep that info is readily available where people have suggested, and another simply way is to open the fittings window and right click the info on the missiles loaded into the bays

While in-space press Ctrl-Alt-F to open the fitting window, then right-click on the missile (the missile itself, not the launcher) and Show Info. You will see the explosion velocity, explosion radius, flight time, flight speed and damage values updated with your skills, modules, ship bonus, implants, rigs and boosters.

Unlike the RoF bonus and either bonus for a gunnery related damage mod, the damage bonus on a BCU applies to the missile and not the weapon. Edited by: Compendium on 11/02/2008 17:21:59 Actually, the missile damage still does not reflect the bonus given by the ballistic controls. Only skills are taken into consideration for that damage. If you have the proper skills and fitting entered into EFT, that shows the correct damage given by a missile. This bug STILL has not been fixed in over two years.
